Perched on the 5th floor of the sought-after Oceanica complex, Oceanica 817 is a stylish 2-bedroom, 2-bath condo with panoramic views over Brasilito Bay, tasteful furnishings, and walkable access to one of Costa Ricaβs most beautiful beaches. With an elevator for easy access and a comfortably furnished balcony made for sunset barbecues, this coastal retreat combines luxury and convenience in the heart of Flamingoβs North Ridge. The interior features chic, artful dΓ©cor throughout the spacious open-concept living area. The primary suite includes a king bed, en-suite bath, walk-in closet, private balcony, and ocean views. The second bedroom has two twin beds and a peek at Potrero Bay, while the living room includes a queen sofa bed to comfortably accommodate up to six guests. A full kitchen with granite countertops and wooden cabinetry provides everything needed for home-cooked meals, while the adjacent laundry room includes a washer and dryer for added convenience. Pet-friendly policy We welcome your furry friends at our property! Before you book, each pet must be verified and approved based on breed and size (max 35 lbs.), accompanied by a recent photo. A refundable pet fee of $200 per stay, along with an additional cleaning fee of $50 + 13% per pet, is required to ensure our home remains pristine for all guests. We allow up to two pets per reservation. Pets must be kept on a leash at all times in public areas within the property grounds. Certain properties and complexes may have specific rules and registration requirements. Pets need to be verified at least 24 hours prior to check-in. If guests arrive at check-in with unverified pets, access to the property will be denied. Owners are responsible for their pets' behavior and any damages incurred. Oceanica is a luxury high-rise condominium on Flamingoβs exclusive North Ridge with staggering views of both Playa Potrero and Playa Flamingo. Itβs a short walk from here to both of these beaches and the conveniences of downtown Flamingo, which is home to gourmet restaurants, bars and shops. The new Marina Flamingo, also a short walk downhill, offers a state-of-the-art facility for mooring yachts and fishing boats, plus a large commercial plaza with fine restaurants, high-end stores and more. Oceanica is in the heart of the action, with a beautiful pool surrounded by palm trees and flowering plants, always offering a stunning view of the ocean. Flamingo is a high-end beachfront community notable for its dazzling ocean views and the beautiful, hilly peninsula that juts out into the Pacific, separating Playa Potrero from Playa Flamingo. Flamingo is home to a wide array of stunning homes and vacation rentals, as well as humbler lodging options, and it has restaurants, grocery stores, banks and other conveniences. A brand-new, state-of-the-art marina opened to the public in 2022, with slips for yachts and fishing boats, condos for rent and all kinds of shops and restaurants. Other major developments here include the 360 Splendor del Pacifico luxury condominiums on top of the North Ridge, the Margaritaville Beach Resort, and the upscale Mar Vista housing development, where thereβs an excellent private school called La Paz. Good restaurants in town include the Coco Loco, a beachfront eatery known for its coconut drinks and standout cuisine; Marieβs, a reliable standard with a long and enticing menu; Angelinaβs, featuring fine Italian dining in an elegant environment; and several options at the Margaritaville, including the 5 OβClock Somewhere Bar & Grill. Flamingo was largely developed by foreigners, and it lacks the traditional Costa Rican downtown with a soccer field plaza, church and school. The heart of town is an upscale commercial plaza with stone steps, fountains, restaurants and shops. Farther away on the road to Brasilito, youβll find smaller restaurants, hotels, banks, hardware stores and the Super Massai grocery store. Flamingo is more or less the centerpiece of a beautiful coastline stretching from the Reserva Conchal resort in the south to the Las Catalinas resort in the north, with the more traditional Costa Rican towns of Brasilito and Potrero in between. Flamingo is within easy striking distance of several beaches, including Conchal, Flamingo, Potrero, Penca, Prieta, Pan de Azucar and Danta. You will be contacted via email, text, or app notification with instructions to complete this process. As part of the verification, you will need to choose between paying a refundable security deposit (which includes a non-refundable 2% processing fee) or purchasing a non-refundable damage waiver, which protects you in case of accidental damage during your stay. We strongly recommend the damage waiver, as it provides peace of mind and avoids tying up funds with a deposit. Both the TRUVI verification and your selection of either the deposit or the damage waiver must be completed prior to your arrival.
