These terms govern your use of cielstay.com, its API and its AI-agent (MCP) server (together, "CielStay"), operated by Ciel Group LLC ("we", "us"). By using CielStay you agree to them.

1. What CielStay is — and isn't

CielStay helps travellers find vacation rentals and longer stays, and shows the ways each home can be booked, including the host's own booking site. We make the match, then step aside.

We are not a party to any booking. We do not take payment for stays, hold deposits, issue refunds, set house rules or cancellation policies, or decide disputes between guests and hosts.
A booking made on a booking platform is governed by that platform's terms and protections. A booking or rental arranged directly with a host is governed by your agreement with the host.
We are not a real-estate broker, travel agent or property manager, and we do not own, manage or inspect the properties listed.

2. Listing information

Listings are compiled from information hosts and their booking software publish, and from what hosts give us. Prices, availability, amenities, photos and other details can be incomplete, out of date or wrong. Where we show a price or availability read live from a host's site, we say when it was read; the host's own site has the final word. Check the details, and the terms, on the site where you book.

Badges mean only what they say: for example, "Verified Owner" means we confirmed control of the property's booking listing, not that we vetted the person.

3. Accounts

You must be 18 or older to create an account or message a host. Give accurate information, keep your password secure, and tell us if your account is misused. You are responsible for activity on your account.

4. Guests

You decide where and whether to book. Before paying a host directly, we recommend you confirm the property and the host's identity, pay by credit card, and get the terms in writing (see cielstay.com/book-direct/is-it-safe). Any dispute about a stay is between you and the host, or the platform you booked through.

Stays recorded on CielStay. A host can confirm a stay, or record one arranged with you, in your CielStay conversation, with the dates, the total, the host's own payment link and terms, and the host's cancellation policy. CielStay is a referral service: it records each step and is not a party to the stay or the payment. The host sets the terms, takes payment and decides any change, cancellation or refund. CielStay cannot guarantee a stay, does not arbitrate disputes, and is not responsible for payments you make to a host. A dispute is between you and the host, or goes through your card issuer.

5. Hosts

If you claim or add a listing, you confirm you are entitled to market it and that what you provide is accurate and lawful. A listing another host has already verified moves to you only if you pass the same ownership check on it, and we tell you both. You can correct or remove your listing at any time (cielstay.com/opt-out). If you confirm or record a stay on CielStay, you must honour it on the terms you stated, and you must never ask a guest to pay by wire transfer, gift card or cryptocurrency; repeated complaints lead to an account review. If you ask us to assign you many listings at once, you confirm that you manage every listing you ask us to assign, and that the proof you send us is genuine; we tell the contact address published on the booking site. We may reverse an assignment, and return the listings to how they were, if it was not yours to ask for. You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, reformat and promote your listing content (including photos and reels made from it) on CielStay and in places that link to it, for as long as the listing is on CielStay.

Connected pricing tools. If you connect PriceLabs (or a calendar feed), you confirm the account and key are yours to share, and you remain responsible for that account, its settings and any charges from its provider. CielStay only reads your prices, minimum stays and availability from it, and you can disconnect at any time. Prices you show on CielStay, whether entered by you or read from your tools, must be the prices you offer, and you must enter every mandatory fee a guest has to pay (such as cleaning), so the prices guests see include them; taxes may be left out.

CielStay Pro is an optional subscription for hosts. Under the founding offer, the first 100 hosts get Pro free for 12 months, with no card needed, and we will never charge you without asking first. Before any paid plan begins, we will show you its price, billing period, renewal and cancellation terms, and you decide whether to accept them. We never charge a commission on stays, and Pro does not change how listings rank.

6. Acceptable use

Don't:

Use CielStay to post false, misleading or fraudulent listings, or to impersonate anyone.
Send spam, harass anyone, or use messages to ask guests to pay in unsafe or untraceable ways.
Scrape, bulk-download or copy the catalogue except through our published API and MCP server within their limits; and don't circumvent rate limits or security.
Interfere with the service, or use it for anything unlawful.

We may remove content, suspend accounts or block access that breaks these rules, and we remove listings that are fraudulent, misrepresented or unsafe when we learn of them. New hosts' listings are reviewed before they appear. If we close or suspend your account we tell you why, and you can appeal by writing to inquiries@cielstay.com.

7. AI assistants and the API

You may use CielStay through your own AI assistant or our API and MCP server, which are free and need no key, subject to these terms and their rate limits. Responses describe what CielStay holds and how it knows it; they do not make bookings or move money. You are responsible for what your assistant does with them on your behalf.

8. Fees

CielStay is free for guests and never takes a commission from hosts or guests.

9. Intellectual property and feedback

CielStay's software, design and original content belong to us. Listing content belongs to its owners. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without obligation. If you believe something on CielStay infringes your rights, write to inquiries@cielstay.com with the page and the work concerned, and we will look into it promptly.

10. Disclaimers

CielStay is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including accuracy of listings, availability of properties, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We are not responsible for properties, hosts, guests, booking platforms or third-party sites, or for any stay.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to CielStay is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and US $100. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you; nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by law.

12. Indemnity

If you are a host or use CielStay commercially, you agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your listings, your content, or your breach of these terms.

13. Changes, termination and law

We may change these terms; we will post the new version and, for material changes, give notice. You can stop using CielStay at any time and delete your account. We may suspend or end access for breach of these terms.

If you are a consumer in the EU, EEA or UK, you keep the protection of the mandatory law and courts of the country where you live.
