This stunning two-story villa, comprised of a main house and a guest house, is perched on a hilltop cliff overlooking the sandy shores of Playa Flamingo on the North Ridge. It offers unparalleled luxury with high-end furnishings, magnificent indoor and outdoor living spaces, an infinity pool overlooking the ocean, and a private staircase leading down to the beach. Villa La Sata can comfortably sleep 10 guests across five bedrooms. The spacious, well-lit master bedroom is furnished with a king-sized bed, a wrap-around balcony overlooking the ocean, a sitting area and a desk, and a stunning private ensuite bathroom with a dual-sink vanity and double-sided mirror, a walk-in shower, and a giant jacuzzi bathtub. The second bedroom in the main house has a queen bed, and the third has two full beds. Both rooms feature oceanview balconies and private bathrooms with walk-in showers. The guest house offers one queen bed and two full-sized beds. The main house offers a beautiful living room, kitchen, and dining room in a breezy open-concept floor plan. The living room is furnished with a designer couch and chairs and is surrounded by large windows with ocean views. The gourmet chef’s kitchen is beautifully decorated, with wood cabinets, a natural stone backsplash, and high-end stainless steel appliances, including an oven and range top stove with a range hood, a refrigerator, a dishwasher, and a microwave. The kitchen can seat five at the bar, a couple in the built-in breakfast nook, and six at the dining table. The guest house also has a cozy living space, a well-equipped kitchen, and a dining table. However, the undeniable highlight of Villa La Sata is its stunning outdoor spaces that put its location above the ocean on display. With a poolside patio overlooking a sparkling oceanview infinity pool and a staircase leading to the beach, a lush patio oasis with a vine-covered pergola and an old-world-style fountain, and a spacious covered terrace with an outdoor dining set, full bar, and spectacular ocean views — this luxury villa was designed for seamless indoor-outdoor living in Costa Rica! Other amenities at Villa La Sata include a petit grand piano, state-of-the-art electronics and TVs, air conditioning, internet access, and complimentary housekeeping, laundry, and security services. Pet-friendly policy We welcome your furry friends at our property! Before you book, each pet must be verified and approved based on breed and size (max 35 lbs.), accompanied by a recent photo. A refundable pet fee of $200 per stay, along with an additional cleaning fee of $50 + 13% per pet, is required to ensure our home remains pristine for all guests. We allow up to two pets per reservation. Pets must be kept on a leash at all times in public areas within the property grounds. Certain properties and complexes may have specific rules and registration requirements. Pets need to be verified at least 24 hours prior to check-in. If guests arrive at check-in with unverified pets, access to the property will be denied. Owners are responsible for their pets' behavior and any damages incurred. Flamingo is a high-end beachfront community notable for its dazzling ocean views and the beautiful, hilly peninsula that juts out into the Pacific, separating Playa Potrero from Playa Flamingo. Flamingo is home to a wide array of stunning homes and vacation rentals, as well as humbler lodging options, and it has restaurants, grocery stores, banks and other conveniences. A brand-new, state-of-the-art marina opened to the public in 2022, with slips for yachts and fishing boats, condos for rent and all kinds of shops and restaurants. Other major developments here include the 360 Splendor del Pacifico luxury condominiums on top of the North Ridge, the Margaritaville Beach Resort, and the upscale Mar Vista housing development, where there’s an excellent private school called La Paz. Good restaurants in town include the Coco Loco, a beachfront eatery known for its coconut drinks and standout cuisine; Marie’s, a reliable standard with a long and enticing menu; Angelina’s, featuring fine Italian dining in an elegant environment; and several options at the Margaritaville, including the 5 O’Clock Somewhere Bar & Grill. Flamingo was largely developed by foreigners, and it lacks the traditional Costa Rican downtown with a soccer field plaza, church and school. The heart of town is an upscale commercial plaza with stone steps, fountains, restaurants and shops. Farther away on the road to Brasilito, you’ll find smaller restaurants, hotels, banks, hardware stores and the Super Massai grocery store. Flamingo is more or less the centerpiece of a beautiful coastline stretching from the Reserva Conchal resort in the south to the Las Catalinas resort in the north, with the more traditional Costa Rican towns of Brasilito and Potrero in between. Flamingo is within easy striking distance of several beaches, including Conchal, Flamingo, Potrero, Penca, Prieta, Pan de Azucar and Danta. Special Places of Costa Rica is committed to protecting our properties and complying with short-term rental regulations, which is why all guests are required to complete an independent verification with our trusted partner, TRUVI, before check-in. You will be contacted via email, text, or app notification with instructions to complete this process. As part of the verification, you will need to choose between paying a refundable security deposit (which includes a non-refundable 2% processing fee) or purchasing a non-refundable damage waiver, which protects you in case of accidental damage during your stay. We strongly recommend the damage waiver, as it provides peace of mind and avoids tying up funds with a deposit. Both the TRUVI verification and your selection of either the deposit or the damage waiver must be completed prior to your arrival.
