Punta Plata 510 is a gorgeous ground-floor condo with quick access to a sparkling lap pool, surrounded by tropical foliage in a lush, well-maintained condominium community. Located on Playa Flamingoβs North Ridge, this two-bedroom condo overlooks Potrero Beach and Flamingo Beach, as well as the new Flamingo Marina, a prime location for sailing, catamaran rides, and fishing charters. This 655-square-foot (61 γ‘) unit features an open-concept living space, with a cozy living room next to a massive sliding glass door that leads out to the covered patio, furnished with an outdoor couch, chair, and a barbecue grill. The patio offers stunning views of the ocean and mountains in Playa Flamingo and offers direct stairway access to a secluded beach. The newly updated kitchen features a stylish design with high-end wood cabinets, granite countertops, and a subway tile backsplash. The kitchen offers a wraparound breakfast bar with three barstools and stainless steel appliances, including an oven and stovetop, a microwave, a refrigerator and freezer, and a dishwasher. The unit also includes a washer and dryer and a dining table for four near the kitchen. This condo can sleep five guests in two bedrooms. The bright, inviting master bedroom includes a queen-sized bed, a large closet, and two windows. The second bedroom has a large closet and a bunk bed with a queen and a single mattress. The two bedrooms share a beautifully updated bathroom with a walk-in shower and a single-sink vanity. There is also a sofa bed in the living room. No pets policy Please note that this property is not pet-friendly due to house and condominium rules. No exceptions will be made, and emotional support animals are not permitted. If guests arrive at check-in with pets that have not been verified and approved, access to the property will be denied. Flamingo Flamingo is a high-end beachfront community notable for its dazzling ocean views and the beautiful, hilly peninsula that juts out into the Pacific, separating Playa Potrero from Playa Flamingo. Flamingo is home to a wide array of stunning homes and vacation rentals, as well as humbler lodging options, and it has restaurants, grocery stores, banks and other conveniences. A brand-new, state-of-the-art marina opened to the public in 2022, with slips for yachts and fishing boats, condos for rent and all kinds of shops and restaurants. Other major developments here include the 360 Splendor del Pacifico luxury condominiums on top of the North Ridge, the Margaritaville Beach Resort, and the upscale Mar Vista housing development, where thereβs an excellent private school called La Paz. Good restaurants in town include the Coco Loco, a beachfront eatery known for its coconut drinks and standout cuisine; Marieβs, a reliable standard with a long and enticing menu; Angelinaβs, featuring fine Italian dining in an elegant environment; and several options at the Margaritaville, including the 5 OβClock Somewhere Bar & Grill. Flamingo was largely developed by foreigners, and it lacks the traditional Costa Rican downtown with a soccer field plaza, church and school. The heart of town is an upscale commercial plaza with stone steps, fountains, restaurants and shops. Farther away on the road to Brasilito, youβll find smaller restaurants, hotels, banks, hardware stores and the Super Massai grocery store. Flamingo is more or less the centerpiece of a beautiful coastline stretching from the Reserva Conchal resort in the south to the Las Catalinas resort in the north, with the more traditional Costa Rican towns of Brasilito and Potrero in between. Flamingo is within easy striking distance of several beaches, including Conchal, Flamingo, Potrero, Penca, Prieta, Pan de Azucar and Danta. We strongly recommend the damage waiver, as it provides peace of mind and avoids tying up funds with a deposit. Both the TRUVI verification and your selection of either the deposit or the damage waiver must be completed prior to your arrival.
