The fully furnished living room features a large blue sectional sofa, tropical wall art, a flat-screen TV, and floor-to-ceiling glass doors that open onto a private ground-floor terrace shaded by coconut palms. From here, take in the tranquil views of the ocean and the lush green mountains in the distance. The open-concept layout flows into a well-equipped kitchen with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and everything you need to prepare meals at home. The indoor dining space is perfect for casual family breakfasts or sunset dinners after a day at the beach. The primary bedroom features a plush king-sized bed, a ceiling fan, and cozy décor. The second bedroom has a convenient bunk bed with a queen on the bottom and twin on top – ideal for families with kids or groups of friends. Both bathrooms are clean and modern, with walk-in showers and accessible-height features for added comfort. Guests can enjoy high-speed internet, cable TV, ceiling fans, in-unit laundry, and air conditioning throughout. While this unit does not have a dedicated parking space, free street or on-site parking may be available depending on availability. If guests arrive at check-in with pets that have not been verified and approved, access to the property will be denied. Flamingo is a high-end beachfront community notable for its dazzling ocean views and the beautiful, hilly peninsula that juts out into the Pacific, separating Playa Potrero from Playa Flamingo. Flamingo is home to a wide array of stunning homes and vacation rentals, as well as humbler lodging options, and it has restaurants, grocery stores, banks and other conveniences. A brand-new, state-of-the-art marina opened to the public in 2022, with slips for yachts and fishing boats, condos for rent and all kinds of shops and restaurants. Other major developments here include the 360 Splendor del Pacifico luxury condominiums on top of the North Ridge, the Margaritaville Beach Resort, and the upscale Mar Vista housing development, where there’s an excellent private school called La Paz. Good restaurants in town include the Coco Loco, a beachfront eatery known for its coconut drinks and standout cuisine; Marie’s, a reliable standard with a long and enticing menu; Angelina’s, featuring fine Italian dining in an elegant environment; and several options at the Margaritaville, including the 5 O’Clock Somewhere Bar & Grill. Flamingo was largely developed by foreigners, and it lacks the traditional Costa Rican downtown with a soccer field plaza, church and school. The heart of town is an upscale commercial plaza with stone steps, fountains, restaurants and shops. Farther away on the road to Brasilito, you’ll find smaller restaurants, hotels, banks, hardware stores and the Super Massai grocery store. Flamingo is more or less the centerpiece of a beautiful coastline stretching from the Reserva Conchal resort in the south to the Las Catalinas resort in the north, with the more traditional Costa Rican towns of Brasilito and Potrero in between. Flamingo is within easy striking distance of several beaches, including Conchal, Flamingo, Potrero, Penca, Prieta, Pan de Azucar and Danta. We strongly recommend the damage waiver, as it provides peace of mind and avoids tying up funds with a deposit. Both the TRUVI verification and your selection of either the deposit or the damage waiver must be completed prior to your arrival.
