Welcome to my apartment! My 2-bedroom and 2-bathroom, located at the heart of Barcelona's City Center, is perfect for those traveling with children or friends. The Eixample neighborhood is safe and family-friendly with plenty to do on your doorstep. The apartment is located next to Paseo de Gracia street, and 10 min away from Plaza Catalunya, the city centre of Barcelona. This two-bed two-bath apartment is located in full center of Barcelona, from here you will be able to see the most important sightseeing points of Barcelona on foot, taste the Mediterranean flavor of the delicious Spanish food in restaurants all around your apartment and live the thrilling nightlife of the Barcelona city center. The Eixample is a modernist district that stretches from Plaça de Catalunya and includes both residential and business areas. It is the neighbourhood where you can find Carrer de Valencia, in which the apartment is situated. It’s known for its grid system of straight streets, which was built in the 1860s to accommodate the city’s rising population. There are many restaurants and cafes in this region, which is full of modernist structures with stone and iron embellishments on their façade. The location is a transit - oriented street lined with stunning modernist architecture. There are many stores, cafés, and restaurants in the area, and you can walk around Paseo de Gracia in 10 minutes or Las Ramblas and the Gothic quarter in 20 minutes. *** TOURIST TAX & REGISTRATION PROCESS *** - Since 2012 the Catalan administration requires that every guest staying in a hotel room or renting an apartment in Catalunya contributes with a small city tax fee of 9.50€ per guest (over 17 years old) per night up to a maximum of 7 nights. This cost IS NOT included on your reservation. - National and International police demand that each guest, prior to their visit to Barcelona, would send information of their IDs or passports. This is mandatory, as it is stated in Catalan Law, and all legal touristic establishments are required to do so. - This apartment uses a self-checkin system via the Chekin platform that will allow you to register all guests on the reservation and pay the mandatory tourist taxes before your arrival. *** CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT *** Check-in time is at 17:00 hrs Check-out is at 11:00 am (non-agreed late check-outs will incur on a 100€ charge per hour late) *** HOUSE RULES *** 1. Parties, drugs, loud noise or any kind of disturbance towards the neighbors are completely forbidden, with a penalty of possible eviction and a deposit seizure up to 600€. 2. Please observe quiet time between 10pm - 9am. 3. Respect your neighbors and be respectful in common areas (hallways, entrance, elevator, stairs). 4. Loss of keys will have a 100€ charge per key lost. 5. No smoking on interior areas. 6. If the garbage bin is full, please take it outside and find the closest dumpster. 7. Guests take full responsibility for any accidents, injuries or illnesses that occur while on the premises or its facilities. 8. Please leave the apartment in a respectable condition. Not following those rules will incur on a monetary sanction and the full responsibility of any fines from the local administration or authorities. Thank you for your understanding!
