Sitting in one of Tulum’s Hotel Zone’s most coveted areas, this intimate villa is the perfect base for couples to explore the chic surroundings and come back to rest in a beachfront hut enveloped by vibrant green. Casa Chechén comprises two independent units. The main house has two beautifully furnished bedrooms that sleep four guests. Additionally, on the top level, there is an extra suite for two with private access that can be rented either as part of the main villa – making it a three-bedroom home – or separately as stand-alone accommodation The design of the house uses local materials to bring nature into every space. Custom-made finishes in wood, stone, and chukum -a fine resin made out of a local tree– bring tropical motives into the interiors, which open up to the sandy backyard to let in the ocean breeze. There is also a full kitchen and a comfortable outdoor lounge on the terrace. Further, the villa has a plunge pool and private access to a wide stretch of sandy beach. Located in the middle of Tulum’s famous bar and restaurant strip, Casa Chechén is still private enough for guests to relax and enjoy the tranquility of life by the sea.
