This Korean-inspired shed-style cabin is 17โx15โ with dramatic 18โ ceilings and giant windows so it feels like you are sleeping outdoors. This particular cabin is often called our "honeymoon suite" because, along with #26, it is our most secluded cabin on the entire propertyโif you want peace and quiet, this is the one for you. It features a queen bed overlooking the woods with a beautiful stream winding through, a sleeper sofa with (an actually comfortable) queen foam mattress, a seating area nook with built-in cushioned benches and live edge table perfect for a game of cards or working on your laptop (donโt be lame!), granite countertop, electric hot top, mini refrigerator, microwave, kettle, etc. This cabin comes supplied with linens (sheets, down comforter, towels for four, and pillows), linens for the sleeper sofa (sheets, pillows, and blankets), and two sleeping pads and pillows if you have additional guests (i.e. kids) sleeping on the floor. The cabin also has an outdoor seating area with four Adirondack chairs, a fire ring (w/ integrated grill), a small picnic table, and bistro lights that make for a magical outdoor experience. Because of this cabin's secluded location, it does not have a bathroom, but our renovated cedar bath house is just a short walk away (about 75ft up a somewhat steep path). This is the nicest campground bathroom you'll ever see with a tiled floor, live edge countertops, and new fixtures everywhere. It actually smells _good_ if you can believe that. And while the bath house is a shared space, don't worry about it being crowded--it gets minimal use because our campground is small and many of our guests will be staying in cabins with their own bathrooms. The bath house has three clean, individual showers with gloriously hot water. The cabin is located in the recently renovated campground next to the Desert of Maine, an iconic tourist attraction established in 1926. The campground is small, quiet, and serene, surrounded by tall northern pines at the edge of the Desertโs rolling sand dunes which were deposited there at the end of the last ice age. The tourist attraction (open May - Oct) includes fascinating exhibits about the history, ecology, geology of the Desert, activities for kids, a train ride, mini golf, and much more. Campground guests enjoy free access to the dunes after hours, and discounted tickets for mini golf and general admission for daytime visits. The entire experience is designed around helping you unwind from your busy life, slip in to a sense of stillness and wonder, and wake up (again) to the magic of being a human. Come to the place Where Wanderers Unwind.
