Welcome to Southernmost, Unit 1 at Milepost 16! The property is located (you guessed it) at Milepost 16 in Nags Head. Located across the street from the Glidden Street beach access, the two bedroom, one bath unit sits on a semi-oceanfront lot. The unit is on the second floor, so you can enjoy horizon views of the sound, catch beautiful sunsets, and watch kite-boarders in the distance. The two bedrooms in this refreshingly-fun unit offer one king bed and one queen. The unit's bathroom is a shower-only design.  We're dog friendly - and so are the Nags Head beaches - WOOF! We do have a two dog maximum policy (no cats, please!), but no additional pet fees.  Other property features include WIFI, flat screen TVs (3), and a well-stocked kitchen and a shared coin-operated washer & dryer.  The outdoor area offers an outdoor shower and an outdoor hose. For your convenience, the unit has a cart for hauling your beach gear to and from the sand. Linens and cleaning are included in the rate. Linens are provided by an independent vendor (bed linens, bath towels, washcloths, sheets). Beds will be made when you arrive! Our awesome caretakers, Mike and Lisa, live nearby and are as committed to your experience as we are. In addition to many local retail shops, fine and casual dining establishments and grocery stores, the cottage is also close to many great local attractions including the beautifully renovated Jennette's Pier (less than one half mile away), the North Carolina Aquarium in Manteo, Jockey's Ridge, Tanger Outlet shopping, Bodie Island Lighthouse, Coquina Beach, and off-roading and fishing at Oregon Inlet. There is no smoking allowed in the unit. We have a 30-day cancellation policy - refunds will only be issued if cancellation is submitted in writing to the property manager outside of 30 days from check-in date.
