There is no longer a front desk at the Grand Lodge but we are readily available to respond to our guests! Located in Crested Butte—a breathtaking destination. Pros + Prime Location: Less than an 5 -minute walk to the base of the ski resort, passing by a coffee shop and restaurants. + Great Amenities: Indoor/outdoor pool and large hot tub—clean and well-maintained. + Large steam room for post-ski relaxation. + Free Parking: Each room comes with one parking pass for outdoor parking. +Convenient Mini Kitchens: Every room is equipped with a mini kitchen, perfect for snacks. Cons - Building Management: Managed by a separate company that controls amenities; they may close amenities without notice. - Older Building: Rooms show some wear but are kept very clean. - No Air Conditioning: Rooms have heat but no air conditioning. Overall: The Grand Lodge is ideal if you prioritize location and convenience, but it may not meet 5-star expectations. We are a short distance from the town of Crested Butte where Elk Avenue provides a great place to shop, dine, visit historic buildings and art galleries. The area offers outdoor activities in all seasons! It is a great place to enjoy hiking, biking, rafting, skiing, and snowshoeing. The Gunnison-Crested Butte Regional Airport is a 45-minute drive from the Grand Lodge. Landmarks and attractions are easily accessible and the resort is just a 5 min walk away! License number - 314150 This property is NOT pet friendly. This property does not have air conditioning. Please note: we do not do daily linen service like a traditional hotel (this is Airbnb style). However, if you'd like a turnover to be done during your stay, please give us a 24 notice so we can coordinate with the cleaner. There is an extra cost for this, which is $100. -Unfortunately, the HOA does not allow pets on the 3rd floor. You may see pets, however if an owner is staying in their unit, then they are allowed to have a pet (this is the buildings policy and has nothing to do with Traverse Hospitality ).
