The townhouse is situated in central Wells, just a 5-minute walk from the famous cathedral. Local amenities include numerous supermarkets, a cinema and numerous pubs and cafes. All within easy walking distance. Wells is England's smallest City lying at the foot of the Mendip Hills. The City centre is well known for its bustling High Street and Market Place, where there is a produce market on Wednesday's and Saturdays. There are several good pubs such as The Fountain Inn, Britannia Pub, Fosso Lounge and The Globe Inn. Goodfellows is another brilliant eatery serving fresh seafood, and there are also some lovely cafes in the town centre. We recommend trying Twentyone as well as Loaf. From the house, you can reach the Mendip Hills in under 15 minutes. Cheddar Gorge is a must-see, providing beautiful walks with views over Somerset and beyond as well as a number of pretty cafes. Stockhill Wood is another of our favourite spots for a walk and is just a nine-minute drive. The vibrant cities of Bristol and Bath are also just a short drive or bus ride away. Please note, due to space limitations, there is only dining space for 6 guests both outside and inside. Dogs are welcome with a fee of £20/dog (max 2). It is on the condition they are not allowed on the soft furnishings, kept downstairs and not left in the property unattended.
