A luxurious, eco-friendly 4-bedroom property perfect for up to 10 guests, set in a unique countryside location close to the beautiful city of Bath, Frome and Radstock. Nestled in the heart of rural Somerset, Bloomsbridge House is a contemporary eco-home located within the exclusive 450-acre Cookswood gated estate. Set within a beautifully restored former quarry and surrounded by woodland, this unique retreat combines peaceful countryside living with stylish, modern interiors. Carefully designed and thoughtfully created, Bloomsbridge offers the perfect place to relax, unwind and reconnect with family and friends in a truly special setting. Downstairs As you enter the property, you are welcomed into a stylish hallway. Straight ahead is a beautifully designed bedroom featuring bespoke built-in double bunk beds, with two single beds on the top and two doubles below — perfect for families or groups. Also on the ground floor is a luxurious family bathroom complete with a large walk-in shower, freestanding bath and “his and hers” basins. Around the corner you’ll find the main bedroom, featuring built-in storage, a TV, elegant dressing area and a spacious ensuite shower room. A third bedroom, also with a TV, is located on the ground floor. A thoughtfully designed utility room includes a washing machine, tumble dryer, Belfast sink and countryside-inspired styling — as well as a luxury dog shower, ideal after countryside walks. The first floor also offers a twin bedroom with two single beds and a private study, ideal for reading, relaxing or working remotely. The heart of the home is the impressive open-plan living space, featuring a large comfortable sofa, TV and electric fire for cosy evenings. The dining table seats up to 10 guests and sits alongside a fully equipped luxury kitchen, all filled with natural light overlooking the beautifully designed garden. Double doors open onto a large balcony, where guests can enjoy the peaceful surroundings. From here, a striking steel bridge leads directly into the garden, creating a truly unique connection between the home and its natural setting. Outside The private garden offers a beautifully designed outdoor space, perfect for relaxing and entertaining. Guests can enjoy a luxurious outdoor kitchen and BBQ area, complemented by high-quality outdoor seating and dining furniture set beneath a stylish pergola — creating the ideal setting for long, relaxed meals or evening drinks. For the ultimate retreat experience, the garden also features a sauna and refreshing plunge pool, allowing guests to fully unwind while surrounded by the peaceful countryside. Bloomsbridge is thoughtfully equipped for families and groups, sleeping up to 10 guests. A travel cot and other baby essentials can be provided on request. The home is also fitted with eco-friendly underfloor heating powered by heat-pump technology, ensuring comfort throughout the year while remaining environmentally conscious. While the house is completed, the wider site is still under phased construction. You may notice building activity elsewhere on the estate, but this should not affect your stay. The estate is a former quarry, and the terrain can be muddy, so we recommend bringing wellies or suitable walking shoes if you plan to explore the surroundings. The house also has parking up to 4 cars. 2 cars can be parked at the house and 2 to be parked at reception. Please note this property is not a party/ hen do/ stag house as it is situated in a quiet, rural environment.
