Whether you're enjoying coffee on your ocean-view balcony, taking a midday swim, or walking to the beach for a sunset stroll, this is your serene escape by the sea. Inside, Casa Sail Away #13 features a bright and inviting layout with breezy beach-inspired decor by a local artist. The main living room includes a queen-sized sleeper sofa and flat-screen TV, plus a full bathroom downstairsβperfect for rinsing off after the beach. The modern kitchen is beautifully updated with custom cabinetry, stainless steel appliances, a beverage cooler, and a white countertop island with bar seating for three. A stunning locally crafted guanacaste wood dining table seats six for sit-down meals. Upstairs, you'll find two spacious bedrooms, both with king-sized beds and flat-screen TVs. One bedroom also includes an XL twin bed for added flexibility. The upper deck has ocean and sunset views, a ceiling fan, and a small table for two - the perfect perch for morning coffee or a glass of wine at dusk. Guests also enjoy high-speed mesh Wi-Fi, abundant charging ports, air conditioning throughout, and a washer/dryer located on the back deck with a sink. No pets policy Please note that this property is not pet-friendly due to house and condominium rules. No exceptions will be made, and emotional support animals are not permitted. If guests arrive at check-in with pets that have not been verified and approved, access to the property will be denied. Flamingo is a high-end beachfront community notable for its dazzling ocean views and the beautiful, hilly peninsula that juts out into the Pacific, separating Playa Potrero from Playa Flamingo. Flamingo is home to a wide array of stunning homes and vacation rentals, as well as humbler lodging options, and it has restaurants, grocery stores, banks and other conveniences. A brand-new, state-of-the-art marina opened to the public in 2022, with slips for yachts and fishing boats, condos for rent and all kinds of shops and restaurants. Other major developments here include the 360 Splendor del Pacifico luxury condominiums on top of the North Ridge, the Margaritaville Beach Resort, and the upscale Mar Vista housing development, where thereβs an excellent private school called La Paz. Good restaurants in town include the Coco Loco, a beachfront eatery known for its coconut drinks and standout cuisine; Marieβs, a reliable standard with a long and enticing menu; Angelinaβs, featuring fine Italian dining in an elegant environment; and several options at the Margaritaville, including the 5 OβClock Somewhere Bar & Grill. Flamingo was largely developed by foreigners, and it lacks the traditional Costa Rican downtown with a soccer field plaza, church and school. The heart of town is an upscale commercial plaza with stone steps, fountains, restaurants and shops. Farther away on the road to Brasilito, youβll find smaller restaurants, hotels, banks, hardware stores and the Super Massai grocery store. Flamingo is more or less the centerpiece of a beautiful coastline stretching from the Reserva Conchal resort in the south to the Las Catalinas resort in the north, with the more traditional Costa Rican towns of Brasilito and Potrero in between. Flamingo is within easy striking distance of several beaches, including Conchal, Flamingo, Potrero, Penca, Prieta, Pan de Azucar and Danta. As part of the verification, you will need to choose between paying a refundable security deposit (which includes a non-refundable 2% processing fee) or purchasing a non-refundable damage waiver, which protects you in case of accidental damage during your stay. We strongly recommend the damage waiver, as it provides peace of mind and avoids tying up funds with a deposit. Both the TRUVI verification and your selection of either the deposit or the damage waiver must be completed prior to your arrival.
