Ridgestone is proud to present Jacksons Barn, a beautifully converted two-bedroom stone barn located in the quiet hamlet of Water Yeat, just a short distance from the southern shores of Coniston Water. Surrounded by peaceful countryside and framed by traditional slate and stone, the barn offers a warm and characterful base for exploring the Lake District. Upstairs, the open-plan living and dining area is full of natural light and rustic charm. Vaulted ceilings, exposed beams, and soft textures create a space that is both inviting and relaxed. A log-burning stove anchors the room, with comfortable seating arranged around it for cosy evenings in. The large wooden dining table is ideal for shared meals, board games, or planning your day ahead. The adjoining kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and includes a fridge freezer, oven, stove, microwave, toaster, Nespresso coffee machine, and all the cookware and utensils you need to prepare everything from breakfast to supper. Downstairs, you’ll find two well-appointed bedrooms. The master bedroom features a comfy king bed and an en suite shower room. The second bedroom can also be configured as a super king if preferred, offering flexible sleeping arrangements for couples, friends, or families. By default the room is prepared as a super king bed, however it can easily be separated into two single beds to suit your group. Fresh linens and bedding for the twin setup can be found in the drawer beneath the bed, allowing guests to adjust the room to their preferred layout and make the most of the space during their stay. Outside, a private patio and shared garden space offer views across the surrounding hills. This is the perfect spot to enjoy a quiet morning coffee or a peaceful evening with a drink.
