Plus, the new Quays Bridge means you can enjoy a walk along the Avon river into the centre, rather than along the main road! Bath is known for being one of the most beautiful cities in Europe, with its quintessential Georgian architecture and stunning surrounding countryside. Tucked away on cobbled lanes, it’s hard to resist stopping in at artisan shops, trendy cafés and characterful pubs. The UNESCO-approved Roman Baths, some of the best in the world of their kind, will be the first stop on any tour and are just a 15-minute walk away from the house. Take a guided tour of the underground springs and vaults or enjoy a Thermae spa treatment and swim in the rooftop pool with skyline views.
