Conveniently located near Kilauea Town, home of the Kilauea Lighthouse and the Crater Hill National Wildlife Refuge along with many beautiful Kauai beaches. Rock Quarry Beach is just a ten minute walk or two minute drive from your comfortably furnished island vacation home. The large spacious lanai overlooks the Pacific Ocean, the Kilauea River valley, the lush Crater Hill National Wildlife Preserve and a fresh tropical jungle waterfall. The property’s lushly landscaped grounds include seasonal tropical fruits including bananas, limes, figs, starfruit, and coconuts…all available to you during your stay. The home was as described, a spacious place with a view and A/C. Our family loved the large property with fruit trees & privacy. The landscape was lush, and well maintained. The kitchen was well organized. I thought the bed was perfect, but my husband found it a little too soft for his taste. The house provided everything we needed and plenty of space. We loved sitting on the deck, looking out over the trees. The beach is only a half mile away, but it is down a pretty steep hill. We drove down it & parked bc the walk up would have been tiring. The beach was beautiful, but looked rough so we drove the 15 minutes to Hanalei Bay for swimming & to Tunnels for snorkeling. I would recommend this house to anyone who wants more room and privacy than a hotel or condo on a golf course. Great location for privacy and quiet. Awesome views and beautiful surroundings.
