Close to the apartment you will find Via Sottoriva, one of the most ancient and tipical street of Verona, with many cafès and restaurants. The apartment is at the second floor without elevator. A 48m2 cosy studio located in Via Don Bassi, nearby the most famous streets of Verona . It is newly renovated and stylishly furnished for you to have a comfortable stay in Verona. It is accessible to 2nd floor with stairs. If you want a small but cozy nest to spend pleasant days in the center of Verona, the Scalino will pamper you with the convenience of having everything within a few minutes. We provide towels and bed linens. It has a free WIFI Internet Access and HD TV. The kitchen has all the necessary equipment with fridge, cooktop, microwave/grill and coffee machine. Lo Scalino is located in the most ancient heart of Verona, near the prehistoric ford on the Adige, at the foot of the hill where the first inhabitants originally settled. Already the Romans had built in the area, remains Ponte Pietra on the site of the ancient ford and the Roman Theater at the foot of the hill on the other side of the river. A few meters from the apartment starts the road that follows the ancient Roman decumano, which started from the nearby Ponte Pietra, which was the gateway from the north to the city. In the following centuries the area was the residence of the Lords of Verona (the nearby Arche Scaligere testify it till now) and then became the central and residential area par excellence, enclosed in the bend of the river Adige.
