Good to know

This is a self catering unit, but we do provide the basics (tea, coffee, milk, sugar). We have hotel quality linens (300 Thread Count). Stays of 8 nights or longer will receive a complimentary change over. Please note that the property is impacted by the rolling blackouts as implemented by our Government. The property is located in Zone 7. I suggest downloading Eskom-Se-Push App to your mobile phone/tablet to keep up to date with when the area will experience load shedding. Unfortunately I have no control over this. Please note that we do have a good relationship with our neighbours and we would like to keep it that way so kindly ask you to be mindful of them during your stay. We do have a UPS to keep the WIFI line running throughout load shedding. :) Please note that check in hours are strictly between 15h00 - 19h00.

The Neighborhood

Oranjezicht is a suburb in Cape Town, South Africa, built on the site of the old Oranjezicht farm, which used to stretch at least as far as the Mount Nelson Hotel and supplied the Castle of Good Hope with fresh produce. It’s only 10 minutes’ drive from Oranjezicht to the Table Mountain cableway, just off Kloof Nek, and over the other side of the mountain are the Cape Town beaches of the Atlantic Ocean - Camps Bay and Clifton - that offer fantastic swimming, people watching and sun bathing opportunities.
