The house is located in St Thomas, a friendly neighbourhood near central Exeter. Within a 5-minute walk, you’re at the Quay where it’s a simple wander across the bridge and over into the city centre. Straddling the banks of the River Exe, the Quay area feels like you’ve left the city entirely and are instead in an oasis of calm populated by offbeat cafés and antique shops. Come night time and the place is teeming with bars, clubs, and is the perfect place to enjoy dinner by the water’s edge. Exeter is a small, yet bustling city which is famed for its pretty Cathedral and charming historic buildings. Cafes spill out onto the green, where you can enjoy delicious alfresco lunches during spring and summer. Meanwhile, in winter, the courtyard twinkles with the lights of Christmas market stalls. The nearby high street is filled with shops and restaurants - a mixture of chain and independents - so you can shop till your heart's content.
