Omega 2 is a modern two-bedroom condo with a private, covered terrace offering exceptional views of Potrero Bay and the lush greenery in and around Playa Flamingo. Perched at the top of a coastal bluff, this condo not only provides unforgettable views but also an element of privacy, leading to a peaceful and relaxing getaway on Costa Rica’s Gold Coast. This recently renovated condo features a minimalist coastal design and a spacious open-concept living room, dining room, and kitchen. The chic living room is beautifully decorated with a plush couch and recliner, a matching glass-top coffee table and end table, and a flat-screen TV. The living room sits next to a sliding glass door that opens onto the covered terrace, offering picturesque ocean views. The renovated kitchen features a stunning design, with high-end wood cabinets and drawers, beautiful granite countertops, a stylish tile backsplash, and top-quality stainless steel appliances, including a stovetop, oven, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, and freezer. There is a four-seat dining table that sits between the living room and kitchen. This condo’s two bedrooms each have a double-sized bed and ample storage. The master bedroom also features a Juliet balcony that offers stunning ocean views. Both bedrooms share a spacious bathroom with a beautiful walk-in shower and a double-sink vanity. The entire unit can sleep up to four guests. Guests at Omega 2 can enjoy the shared infinity pool overlooking the sparkling ocean and lush tropical foliage in Playa Flamingo, as well as access to the sandy shores of Playa Potrero, a short drive away! Parking is available on the street, but not within the complex. Pet-friendly policy We welcome your furry friends at our property! Before you book, each pet must be verified and approved based on breed and size (max 35 lbs.), accompanied by a recent photo. A refundable pet fee of $200 per stay, along with an additional cleaning fee of $50 + 13% per pet, is required to ensure our home remains pristine for all guests. We allow up to two pets per reservation. Pets must be kept on a leash at all times in public areas within the property grounds. Certain properties and complexes may have specific rules and registration requirements. Pets need to be verified at least 24 hours prior to check-in. If guests arrive at check-in with unverified pets, access to the property will be denied. Owners are responsible for their pets' behavior and any damages incurred. Altos de Flamingo is a gated community in the heart of Flamingo. Upper units offer spectacular views of Potrero Bay and the green hillsides all around. It’s located right next to the excellent Super Massai grocery store, a string of restaurants, hardware stores, banks, a medical clinic and other conveniences. You can walk four blocks to the beach, and from here it’s a short drive to the new Marina Flamingo, or to the nearby towns and beaches of Surfside, Potrero, Las Catalinas, Brasilito, Conchal and Grande. Altos de Flamingo provides a convenient and central location to explore all of Guanacaste’s resplendent Gold Coast. Flamingo is a high-end beachfront community notable for its dazzling ocean views and the beautiful, hilly peninsula that juts out into the Pacific, separating Playa Potrero from Playa Flamingo. Flamingo is home to a wide array of stunning homes and vacation rentals, as well as humbler lodging options, and it has restaurants, grocery stores, banks and other conveniences. A brand-new, state-of-the-art marina opened to the public in 2022, with slips for yachts and fishing boats, condos for rent and all kinds of shops and restaurants. Other major developments here include the 360 Splendor del Pacifico luxury condominiums on top of the North Ridge, the Margaritaville Beach Resort, and the upscale Mar Vista housing development, where there’s an excellent private school called La Paz. Good restaurants in town include the Coco Loco, a beachfront eatery known for its coconut drinks and standout cuisine; Marie’s, a reliable standard with a long and enticing menu; Angelina’s, featuring fine Italian dining in an elegant environment; and several options at the Margaritaville, including the 5 O’Clock Somewhere Bar & Grill. Flamingo was largely developed by foreigners, and it lacks the traditional Costa Rican downtown with a soccer field plaza, church and school. The heart of town is an upscale commercial plaza with stone steps, fountains, restaurants and shops. Farther away on the road to Brasilito, you’ll find smaller restaurants, hotels, banks, hardware stores and the Super Massai grocery store. Flamingo is more or less the centerpiece of a beautiful coastline stretching from the Reserva Conchal resort in the south to the Las Catalinas resort in the north, with the more traditional Costa Rican towns of Brasilito and Potrero in between. Flamingo is within easy striking distance of several beaches, including Conchal, Flamingo, Potrero, Penca, Prieta, Pan de Azucar and Danta.
