The location was unbeatable, the unit was nicely furnished, clean, and had great amenities. We especially appreciated the extras that came with the rental – including beach chairs, coolers, towels, and boogie boards. The condo had everything that we needed, it was even stocked with games our kids loved. The entire property at Poipu Crater had immaculate landscaping, which we were able to enjoy from the lanai. Poipu beach was located a short distance from the property, which was perfect for snorkeling and we even saw turtles and harbor seals on the beach. While on vacation we decided to extend our stay, the property manager was great to work with to make this happen. We definitely plan on booking this exact property in the near future. First the positives. Very lush green area in a crater outside of the main drag of Poipu. What this means is it is quiet. However what it also means is you have to treck to the beach to see the sunset or sunrise. Not terrible. You just should know are literally in a crater. You are also in an area where the owners don’t seem to like the renters. Some annoyances is that they advertise a hottub but there isn’t one and at least our unit could not goto the Poipu club.
