Villa Catalina 10 is a stunning split-level villa in Potrero that sleeps up to six guests across three bedrooms. This 1,826-square-foot (170 γ‘) villa is the largest of the luxury townhomes in Villas Catalinas. This hillside community features an infinity-edge swimming pool offering unforgettable views of the sparkling ocean and lush mountains along Costa Ricaβs Gold Coast! The condo's entrance is downstairs and opens into a foyer that leads to the three bedrooms. Each bedroom has an ensuite bathroom, beautiful wood furnishings, and a TV. The master suite features a king-sized bed, a walk-in closet, and sliding glass doors that lead to a furnished oceanview balcony. The attached bathroom has a double-sink vanity and a massive jacuzzi soaking tub. The second bedroom features a queen-sized bed, a walk-in closet, and a bathroom with a single-sink vanity and a walk-in shower. The third bedroom has a bunk bed, a sliding glass door leading onto the balcony, and a bathroom with a single-sink vanity and a walk-in shower. Upstairs, youβll find a roomy open-concept living space with a living room, dining room, and kitchen, as well as a powder bathroom, laundry room, and walk-in pantry. The space features high, vaulted ceilings with stunning wood beams and is filled with windows, creating a bright, welcoming atmosphere. The beautiful living room includes a high-end leather sectional and sofa, a glass-top coffee table, a flat-screen TV, and sophisticated decor. The kitchen is extremely spacious and equipped with wood cabinets and drawers, high-end granite countertops, and stainless steel appliances, including a double-door refrigerator and freezer, an oven and stovetop, a microwave, and a dishwasher. The wraparound breakfast bar seats four, and the dining table seats an additional six. The unitβs covered balconies offer spectacular views of the ocean and greenery surrounding Potrero. The upstairs patio features a dining table for six, a BBQ grill, and a glider swing, while the downstairs balcony has a couple of lounge chairs and a coffee table. Guests at Villa Catalina 10 can also enjoy the infinity-edge swimming pool that overlooks the ocean. Pet-friendly policy We welcome your furry friends at our property! Before you book, each pet must be verified and approved based on breed and size (max 35 lbs.), accompanied by a recent photo. A refundable pet fee of $200 per stay, along with an additional cleaning fee of $50 + 13% per pet, is required to ensure our home remains pristine for all guests. We allow up to two pets per reservation. Pets must be kept on a leash at all times in public areas within the property grounds. Certain properties and complexes may have specific rules and registration requirements. Pets need to be verified at least 24 hours prior to check-in. If guests arrive at check-in with unverified pets, access to the property will be denied. Owners are responsible for their pets' behavior and any damages incurred. Offering easy access to three beaches (Potrero, Penca and Prieta), this town combines upscale lodging options with the charm of a traditional Costa Rican town (think central plaza with church, school and soccer field). There are plenty of restaurants, shops and other conveniences, and the downtown area has two mini supers (convenience stores), as well as a commercial plaza with a coffee shop, a hairdresser and other businesses. Some of the liveliest nightlife in the region can be found at Las Brisas Bar, right on the beach, though itβs normally hopping only on Wednesdays (Ladiesβ Night). Potrero has several nice housing developments with βVillagioβ in the name, popular among Italians and other expats. You can find Italian gelato shops, Costa Rican sodas (small, affordable restaurants) and hotels in a range of prices (Pitaya Lodge, BahΓa La Esmeralda, Hotel Isolina, BahΓa del Sol). Just to the south of Potrero lie all the attractions of Surfside, and to the north is a beautiful, hilly drive along the ocean, ending at the Mediterranean-style village of Las Catalinas. Potrero is within easy striking distance of several beaches, and itβs a great base to explore the entire region β for a sampler of both the high-end and the humble. Special Places of Costa Rica is committed to protecting our properties and complying with short-term rental regulations, which is why all guests are required to complete an independent verification with our trusted partner, TRUVI, before check-in. You will be contacted via email, text, or app notification with instructions to complete this process. As part of the verification, you will need to choose between paying a refundable security deposit (which includes a non-refundable 2% processing fee) or purchasing a non-refundable damage waiver, which protects you in case of accidental damage during your stay. We strongly recommend the damage waiver, as it provides peace of mind and avoids tying up funds with a deposit. Both the TRUVI verification and your selection of either the deposit or the damage waiver must be completed prior to your arrival.
