Welcome to The Frogs, Cookswood! Nestled in the heart of Somerset, England, this newly-built contemporary eco-home sits within the exclusive 450-acre Cookswood gated estate. Offering the highest level of sustainable luxury, in addition to its stunning woodland surroundings, this property is an idyllic destination for families or friends. Downstairs: As you walk through the front door, you’re greeted by a contemporary hallway leading to two bedrooms conveniently on the ground floor. Both bedrooms are of good size with en-suites. BEDROOM 1; The master suite features a king-size bed and an en suite shower room. BEDROOM 2; This room also boasts a king-size bed and an en suite bathroom, complete with a freestanding bath for a touch of luxury. Upstairs: The Frogs offers a charming open-plan kitchen, living, and dining area that effortlessly combines modern style with everyday comfort. The well-equipped kitchen is perfect for preparing meals and hosting, while the adjoining living and dining spaces create a warm and inviting atmosphere. A conveniently located WC upstairs adds to the property's practicality. Large windows allow natural light to fill the room, providing delightful views of the surrounding Somerset countryside. Step outside onto your private balcony, furnished with comfortable egg chairs, and enjoy the tranquil rural scenery. A second balcony at the rear of the property, complete with a table and chairs, offers an additional space to relax outdoors. An outdoor spiral staircase leads down to a beautifully landscaped private garden, providing a serene escape amidst nature's beauty. The property has a washer/dryer discreetly tucked under the stairs. Outside: You will enjoy the tranquil environment this house has to offer in the heart of rural Somerset nestled within the green woodlands. Enhancing the outdoor experience, the property features stylish outdoor furniture positioned beside a luxurious hot tub, creating an ideal setting for guests to unwind and enjoy the surroundings. We ask guests to bring their own towels to use for the hot tub. Additional Information: The house benefits from the latest in eco-friendly heating with underfloor pipes powered by heat-pump technology, ensuring the floors remain warm and inviting. There is a 4 car maximum limit at the property. Two cars can be parked at the house during your stay and the others must be parked at reception which is next to the property. While the house is completed, the wider site is still under phased construction. You may notice building activity elsewhere on the estate, but this should not affect your stay. The estate is a former quarry, and the terrain can be muddy, so we recommend bringing wellies or suitable walking shoes if you plan to explore the surroundings. Please note this property is not a party/ hen do/ stag house as it is situated in a quiet, rural environment. Please see below a few house rules: ★ No parties or events. ★ Please do not smoke in the house (inc. vaping & e-cigarettes). ★ Please do not wear shoes inside. ★ Please avoid making an unreasonable amount of noise, particularly after 11pm. ★ No candles/naked flames inside or outside. ★ Hot tub may still be heating up on arrival
