Welcome to my charming one-bedroom house in the trendy suburb of De Waterkant. Our stunning 1-bedroom house provides an excellent homebase for a pleasantly memorable stay in Cape Town. The single bedroom is a good size and comes with a comfortable queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom which includes a shower and bathtub. The bedroom guarantees a healthy and revitalizing sleep. In the living area you will find a large comfortable corner sofa as well as an HDTV with Netflix, this will provide a great means of entertainment for when you are indoors. The kitchen is fully-equipped and allows for a home-like experience to practice your cooking skills. There is one sparkling clean bathroom in the property, it is equipped with a toilet, shower, and a bathtub also. Hillside De Waterkant is a chic enclave centered on Cape Quarter Lifestyle Village, a small, upscale mall with fashion boutiques, commercial art galleries and global eateries. Leafy streets nearby are lined with brightly coloured cottages housing craft coffee bars, stylish gift shops and guesthouses. As you may have heard, South Africa is experiencing energy and water shortages - with this in mind, we kindly ask you to be mindful of your usage. Important Information for Long Stays For bookings longer than 7 nights, a mandatory mid-stay clean will be scheduled every 7 nights (e.g., on Day 8, Day 15, etc.) to maintain hygiene and linen quality. This service includes fresh linen, light cleaning, and trash removal. Fee: R750 per clean (separate from the standard cleaning fee). The fee is payable in advance via Airbnb’s Resolution Centre (an official Airbnb process) and must be settled before check-in. Please note: Linen may only be used for a maximum of 7 nights before replacement. LOAD SHEDDING: Our national power supplier (Eskom) implements ‘load shedding’ schedules across all areas in South Africa. This means that power cuts take place from 1 - 4 hours per day, which can affect your area. We encourage you to be aware of these power outages by downloading a helpful and free App called "EskomSePush" - The Loadshedding App. Once installed, add the suburb "Cape Town CBD" and the App will provide all information and times of these power outages so that you can plan accordingly.
