Your nearest town, Porto Santo Stefano, a fishing town for centuries, is now a lively port filled with yachts and luxury boats, an international clientele, and Romani and Milanesi on holiday. A ferry from here will take you to the islands of Giglio and Giannutri, which you have seen from your Terrace. A Fruit and Vegetable market offers local farmers produce, and a Fishmarket offers fish straight from the boat. Stroll for a gelato, or take a coffee in one of the bars. There are plenty of local restaurants, as well as nightclubs, too. In addition you will find Golf nearby, as well as horse-riding and tennis.
