The "Podere di Metato" is a classic Tuscan Farmhouse restored with love by its owner, a talented architect that has brought back the property to life and who also lives in this hamlet, not far from the Mediterranean Sea. Nestled in a little corner of paradise 400 meters high in the the hills, Il Podere di Metato is a delightful Tuscan farmhouse with breath-taking views across the hillsides and over to the islands in the Tuscan archipelago beyond. The property sleeps up to eight guests in four charming and romantic double bedrooms. Three of the bedrooms have bathrooms en suite and the fourth has a washbasin in the room and its own private bathroom nearby. One of the bedrooms also has a private terrace. The ground floor features stunning wood beamed ceilings and original terracotta floors throughout, which create a lovely sense of warmth and a welcome place to gather. A large sitting room with an open fireplace offers comfortable seating for fireside conversation on a winter evening. The dining room has a rustic farm table and you can choose to eat here or al fresco under the stars in a romantic pergola offering magnificent views to the sea. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you might want for preparing delicious Tuscan meals. You don't want to cook? We can book the house cook to prepare your meals while you enjoy an aperitivo and conversation while waiting for your dinner of local specialties to be served. A large pantry has both a fridge and a freezer, and of course, dishwasher and coffee machine. There are 4 hectares of grounds to explore with shady woodland walks as well as terraced gardens. Enjoy a relaxing soak in the panoramic hot jacuzzi or an invigorating dip in the swimming pool. There are plenty of sun loungers, as well as and tables and chairs. to help you enjoy a Tuscan lifestyle. The track from the parking area in the village up to the property is fairly steep and rocky but there is a driver on hand to either drive you up to the house Monday to Saturday from 9 am to 6 pm or otherwise you are welcome to use the 4x4 vehicle to get to and from your car.
