Kathyβs Corner #5 is a two-bedroom condo located in the safe, secure, and easily accessible Las Palmas community in El Coco. This 1,152 square foot (107 mΒ²) unit is within walking distance of the beach and is situated next to some of the top restaurants and shops in El Coco, making it an excellent home base for a relaxing beach vacation in Guanacaste. The first floor of this two-story condo features an open-concept living space, with a living room, dining area, kitchen, and half bathroom. The living room features a couch and a flat-screen TV and offers exceptional views of the pool and garden landscaping. The entire space is decorated with bright artwork and furnishings. The kitchen features high-end granite countertops and brand-new stainless steel appliances, including an oven and stovetop, a refrigerator and freezer, and a microwave. The kitchen also has a stylish tile backsplash and several dark wood cabinets. Next to the kitchen, a solid marble dining table seats six guests. The kitchen also features a sliding glass door that opens to an enclosed covered patio, complete with a patio table, chairs, a couch, and a barbecue grill. The condo can accommodate up to four guests in the two upstairs bedrooms. The master bedroom features a king-sized bed, a TV, a balcony overlooking the pool, and a small closet. The second bedroom includes two single beds and a chest of drawers for storage. Both rooms are decorated with vibrant tropical furnishings and share a full bathroom. The front patio opens to a lush, beautiful garden that is steps away from the communityβs pristine swimming pool and parking spaces, which are shared with guests from the 12 other units in the complex. The unit features air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and a washer and dryer. Pet-friendly policy We welcome your furry friends at our property! Before you book, each pet must be verified and approved based on breed and size (max 35 lbs.), accompanied by a recent photo. A refundable pet fee of $200 per stay, along with an additional cleaning fee of $50 + 13% per pet, is required to ensure our home remains pristine for all guests. We allow up to two pets per reservation. Pets must be kept on a leash at all times in public areas within the property grounds. Certain properties and complexes may have specific rules and registration requirements. Pets need to be verified at least 24 hours prior to check-in. If guests arrive at check-in with unverified pets, access to the property will be denied. Owners are responsible for their pets' behavior and any damages incurred. Playas del Coco This big town/little city on Costa Ricaβs Gold Coast has it all, starting with a gorgeous, blue-green bay dotted with fishing boats, dive boats and sailboats offering sunset tours. In front of the popular beach is a winding promenade with a basketball court and skate park, and the area is rich in hotels, restaurants, bars and stores catering to every need. Known for its vibrant nightlife as much as its chill pace, Playas del Coco claims to have been the first beach town in Guanacaste reachable by road. Its proximity to the Liberia airport is a plus, and itβs even closer to the nearby beach towns of Ocotal and Hermosa. On weekend nights on the main drag, live music and DJ beats pour out of the popular Zi Lounge and Coconutz restaurants (among others). Coco is home to an upscale Auto Mercado grocery store, the exclusive Pacifico resort community and much more. Many foreigners have come to visit and never left. You can often find these happily aging expats swapping tales at the big rubber tree in front of BambΓΊ Beach Front Bar, or just watching the world go by from one of the open-air bars downtown. Special Places of Costa Rica is committed to protecting our properties and complying with short-term rental regulations, which is why all guests are required to complete an independent verification with our trusted partner, TRUVI, before check-in. You will be contacted via email, text, or app notification with instructions to complete this process. As part of the verification, you will need to choose between paying a refundable security deposit (which includes a non-refundable 2% processing fee) or purchasing a non-refundable damage waiver, which protects you in case of accidental damage during your stay. We strongly recommend the damage waiver, as it provides peace of mind and avoids tying up funds with a deposit. Both the TRUVI verification and your selection of either the deposit or the damage waiver must be completed prior to your arrival.
