Important Information & House Rules To ensure a comfortable stay for all guests and compliance with local regulations, please review the following information before your arrival. Maximum Occupancy The apartment accommodates up to five guests. In accordance with local regulations, only registered guests are permitted on the property, and additional visitors are not allowed during your stay. Check-in & Key Collection A €25 surcharge applies for check-ins scheduled before 8:00 AM or after 8:00 PM. Lockouts & Key Returns If you become locked out of the apartment or fail to return the keys to the designated lockbox upon departure, a €50 fee will apply. Lost Keys Lost key sets incur a replacement charge of €80. Hot Water The apartment is equipped with a water heater that has a limited capacity. If the hot water is depleted, please allow some time for the system to reheat before further use. Electricity Usage As is common in many historic Lisbon buildings, the electrical system may trip if several high-powered appliances are used simultaneously. To avoid interruptions, please limit usage to no more than two high-consumption appliances at a time (such as heaters, hairdryers, toasters, or washing machines). A €40 callout fee may be charged if assistance is required due to power overload. Heating & Cooling Central heating and air conditioning are not typical in many Portuguese properties. For your comfort, portable heaters and fans are provided. We kindly ask that you switch them off whenever you leave the apartment to help conserve energy. City Tax & Guest Registration In accordance with Portuguese law, a city tax of €2 per guest, per night, applies for up to seven nights. Children under the age of 12 are exempt. Prior to check-in, all guests will be required to complete a secure online registration and provide a valid government-issued ID. The city tax will also be collected through the same secure platform. Please note that cash payments cannot be accepted. To ensure a smooth and contactless check-in experience, we kindly ask that all registration details and payments are completed before your arrival.
