Lost River Cabin is a rustic log cabin located in the beautiful and picturesque Methow Valley in north central Washington State. The cabin is minutes from the North Cascades National Park and Pasayten Wilderness. The cabin is situated on an acre and is surrounded by tall pines - privacy plus! The cabin is 1300 square feet and has two bedrooms (1 queen bed/1 full bed/1 futon), but we have sleep mats or sofa for the additional 6th person. The main source of heat for the cabin is the environmental friendly wood stove which warms the entire cabin, as a secondary source of heat, there are electric baseboards. In addition it has a complete kitchen, living room, one bathroom, and laundry room. Lost River Cabin welcomes your pet ($50 fee). Lost River cabin is situated 20 miles west of the town of Winthrop. Small Plane Enthusiasts: The Lost River community is very unique as it is situated around an airstrip. Fly your plane to Lost River, park it at one of the tie-down areas, and enjoy the rest of your stay at the Lost River Cabin. Call for more details. Please be aware that dogs are NOT allowed on the furniture or in the beds. We understand, as dog owners ourselves, that keeping them off furniture can be difficult. We provide sheets for covering furniture/beds, if needed, and a dog bed. Our housekeeper will inspect the cabin upon your departure and will assess whether or not additional cleaning will be required. If extra cleaning is required, we will contact you for resolution. Maximum occupancy is 6. PRICING Please note that the nightly rental rate varies with seasons and weekdays, please enter your proposed dates for an accurate quote (some listings may show an 'average price per night' when in fact this is our minimum rate, we are working to rectify this). The Inn Pool - guests of our cabin may use The Inn at Mazama outdoor pool (open from Memorial Day to Labor Day) and tennis/pickleball court located at 15 Country Road in Mazama. The cost to use the pool is $10/guest/day and you should check in at the front desk before heading to the pool. The Inn also has a co-working space and private offices available to rent by the day in case you need space to work during your stay.
