Fernwood is a chic, pet-friendly cabin located in Shawnee Run in the Red River Gorge, KY. Designed for comfort, this modern space offers a full kitchen, electric fireplace, smart TVs, washer/dryer, and a private hot tub accessed directly from the king bedroom. With private parking and a fire pit, Fernwood is an ideal home base just minutes from hiking, dining, and local attractions. Fernwood offers a comfortable layout that feels both open and inviting for the ultimate relaxing getaway. Interior - Bright living area with large windows - Sleeper sofa for additional guests - Smart TV; guests login with their own credentials - Electric fireplace - Fully equipped kitchen, cookware and kitchen basics provided - Electric stove and oven - Dishwasher - Kitchen island with bar seating - Drip coffee maker with filters; guests provide their own coffee - King bedroom with French doors - Full bathroom with shower - In-unit washer and dryer - WiFi Exterior - Private hot tub just outside the bedroom - Front deck seating - Firepit area (firewood not provided) - Dedicated parking space This cabin is located in the Shawnee Run neighborhood of the Red River Gorge alongside other cabins. This area is 5-10 minutes from attractions like Natural Bridge State Park, Miguel’s Pizza, The Red River Rockhouse, The Gorge Underground, and Appalachian Rose Farm Wedding Venue (The Greenhouse). This new establishment is called Shawnee Run and is tucked back privately off of Glencairn Rd. It's a perfect location for all things serene, private, cozy, and Red River Gorge. Close to many attractions such as the Gorge Underground, the RRG Zip line, Miguel's Pizza, Red River Rock House. Hollerwood and many more! - We supply a starter amount of the following: hand soap, paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, dish soap, dish pods, laundry pods, and basic cleaning supplies. Any additional items needed will be the guest's responsibility to supply. We do not supply anything considered perishable or consumable, this includes but is not limited to, coffee, salt, pepper, oil and the like. - Please ensure to enter a VALID and operational phone number into your account/ reservation as all of your information regarding your stay will be texted to your phone. - There is a standard drip coffee maker. We provide filters, but not coffee. - Firewood is not provided. - This cabin utilizes city water and is considered safe for using and drinking. - A starter amount of shampoo and body soap are provided. - This cabin is pet-friendly. Our pet fee is $50 for up to two pets. Please be sure to add pets onto your guest count so the fee automatically applies. - Smoking of any kind is strictly prohibited in the cabin. - This property is located approximately 1 mile down a flat, gravel road.
