The buzzing Shoreditch nightlife is a short bus ride away. Every Saturday the very popular Stoke Newington Farmer's Market, a lovely place to pick up local, organic produce, is at the end of the road. Check out Street Feast in Dalston Yard for an amazing and fun array of street food options on Friday or Saturday nights. I am lucky enough to live close to many of Hackney's popular parks - Clissold is a 7 minute walk, Hackney Downs 10 minutes away and London Fields a 20 minute walk. For theatregoers the Arcola Theatre in Dalston always has interesting productions as do the Almeida and Kings Head in Islington and Park at Finsbury Park or you can walk to both the Rio Cinema and Hackney Picturehouse. This area really provides you the opportunity to live like a local in the east of London, an area that is becoming increasingly popular with locals and tourists alike!
