Flamingo Cove 7 is a lovely two-bedroom condo located on the southern side of Playa Flamingo’s South Ridge. Located on the first floor, you still have stairs and a panoramic view atop a coastal bluff, this condo offers a breathtaking view of the bright blue waters of Playa Brasilito and the stunning sandy coastline of Playa Conchal. Flamingo Cove 7 can comfortably accommodate six guests between its two bedrooms and spacious open-concept floor plan. The main living space offers a living room, dining area, kitchen, and sliding glass door that opens to a covered balcony with breathtaking ocean views. The balcony features a wrap-around iron railing and is accompanied by an outdoor dining set that can seat four guests. The comfortable living room is furnished with a stylish design, with a brown suede couch, a matching set of rattan chairs, and a loveseat situated around a wooden coffee table. The couch is situated beneath a sliding window that offers views of the tropical greenery outside, and the space is tastefully decorated with beautiful lamps, vases, and tropical-themed decor. There is also a bookshelf in the living room filled with books, games, and other activities to enjoy during your stay at Flamingo Cove 7. The well-equipped kitchen, located behind the living room, offers granite countertops, wood cabinets, and essential appliances, including a refrigerator and freezer, a microwave, an oven, an electric stovetop, and a dishwasher. The kitchen also features a granite breakfast bar that seats three on wooden barstools, in addition to the condo’s beautiful dining space, which accommodates six at a wooden dining table. The main bedroom is furnished with a comfortable queen-sized bed, an ensuite bathroom, and a sliding glass door that opens to the covered balcony with ocean views. The master bathroom features a tiled walk-in shower that is fitted with a large picture window offering breathtaking views of the bright blue waters of the Pacific Ocean and lush, green mountains surrounding Playa Flamingo. The spacious second bedroom is furnished with two double beds and a desk with a chair and lamp. Guests in this bedroom have access to a second bathroom with a walk-in shower. Guests at Flamingo Cove 7 can enjoy the community’s two swimming pools — one featuring an infinity ledge that offers stunning ocean views, and another with a waterfall rock wall and a shallow wading area. You’ll also be a short distance from the sandy shores of Playa Flamingo and Playa Conchal! Pet-friendly policy We welcome your furry friends at our property! Before you book, each pet must be verified and approved based on breed and size (max 35 lbs.), accompanied by a recent photo. A refundable pet fee of $200 per stay, along with an additional cleaning fee of $50 + 13% per pet, is required to ensure our home remains pristine for all guests. We allow up to two pets per reservation. Pets must be kept on a leash at all times in public areas within the property grounds. Certain properties and complexes may have specific rules and registration requirements. Pets need to be verified at least 24 hours prior to check-in. If guests arrive at check-in with unverified pets, access to the property will be denied. Owners are responsible for their pets' behavior and any damages incurred. Flamingo is a high-end beachfront community notable for its dazzling ocean views and the beautiful, hilly peninsula that juts out into the Pacific, separating Playa Potrero from Playa Flamingo. Flamingo is home to a wide array of stunning homes and vacation rentals, as well as humbler lodging options, and it has restaurants, grocery stores, banks and other conveniences. A brand-new, state-of-the-art marina opened to the public in 2022, with slips for yachts and fishing boats, condos for rent and all kinds of shops and restaurants. Other major developments here include the 360 Splendor del Pacifico luxury condominiums on top of the North Ridge, the Margaritaville Beach Resort, and the upscale Mar Vista housing development, where there’s an excellent private school called La Paz. Good restaurants in town include the Coco Loco, a beachfront eatery known for its coconut drinks and standout cuisine; Marie’s, a reliable standard with a long and enticing menu; Angelina’s, featuring fine Italian dining in an elegant environment; and several options at the Margaritaville, including the 5 O’Clock Somewhere Bar & Grill. Flamingo was largely developed by foreigners, and it lacks the traditional Costa Rican downtown with a soccer field plaza, church and school. The heart of town is an upscale commercial plaza with stone steps, fountains, restaurants and shops. Farther away on the road to Brasilito, you’ll find smaller restaurants, hotels, banks, hardware stores and the Super Massai grocery store. Flamingo is more or less the centerpiece of a beautiful coastline stretching from the Reserva Conchal resort in the south to the Las Catalinas resort in the north, with the more traditional Costa Rican towns of Brasilito and Potrero in between. Flamingo is within easy striking distance of several beaches, including Conchal, Flamingo, Potrero, Penca, Prieta, Pan de Azucar and Danta. Special Places of Costa Rica is committed to protecting our properties and complying with short-term rental regulations, which is why all guests are required to complete an independent verification with our trusted partner, TRUVI, before check-in. You will be contacted via email, text, or app notification with instructions to complete this process. As part of the verification, you will need to choose between paying a refundable security deposit (which includes a non-refundable 2% processing fee) or purchasing a non-refundable damage waiver, which protects you in case of accidental damage during your stay. We strongly recommend the damage waiver, as it provides peace of mind and avoids tying up funds with a deposit. Both the TRUVI verification and your selection of either the deposit or the damage waiver must be completed prior to your arrival.
