Surfside Place #5 is a newly remodeled one-bedroom condo in the laid-back coastal community of Surfside, Playa Potrero, situated between Playa Flamingo and Las Catalinas. This unit has a covered patio and a shared swimming pool and jacuzzi surrounded by lush tropical foliage, and is a five-minute walk from the beach. This chic 569-square-foot (53 γ‘) unit features a bright, open floor plan and a colorful, trendy design, with coastal-inspired artwork and vibrant blue and turquoise accents throughout. The living room features a plush couch and armchair, custom wood furniture, a colorful area rug, a flat-screen TV, and a sliding glass door that opens onto a private patio with a barbecue grill and a small seating area for two. The renovated kitchen has beautiful wood cabinets and drawers, quartz countertops, a blue tile backsplash, and a kitchen island that serves as a dining table, with turquoise cabinets and four barstools. The vibrant kitchen is well equipped with all the essential appliances, including an oven and stovetop, a refrigerator and freezer, and a washer and dryer just around the corner. The master bedroom features a queen bed with a beach-inspired comforter and a stylish wooden headboard, matching nightstands, and a built-in desk. It also has a sliding glass door that leads out onto the patio. The ensuite bathroom has been recently remodeled with a beautiful white tiled walk-in shower, a quartz single-sink vanity, pale green cabinets, and stylish gold fixtures. The entire unit can sleep four guests, between the queen bedroom and the fold-out couch in the living room. The built-in desk and fabulous internet connection make Surfside Place #5 a great place to stay for digital nomads! No pets policy Please note that this property is not pet-friendly due to house and condominium rules. No exceptions will be made, and emotional support animals are not permitted. If guests arrive at check-in with pets that have not been verified and approved, access to the property will be denied. Surfside Surfside is a charming community on Playa Potrero where many expats live permanently (in particular Canadians and Italians), and where visitors can choose from a wide range of elegant vacation rentals, appetizing restaurants and lively bars. Located between the towns of Potrero and Flamingo, Surfside is an eminently walkable village where the beach is never more than a few blocks away. Several tour offices offer a variety of adventures by land and sea, and real estate offices will be happy to show you your next home in paradise. Attractions you wonβt want to miss include the beachfront Sailing Center (restaurant, bar, pool and sailing packages); the popular Perlas restaurant (a high-end roadhouse/sports bar with big-screen TVs, live music, and great wings, burgers and pizzas); the CervecerΓa Independiente craft brewery between the two; and other local eateries including the Shack and the Beach House. The lines are somewhat blurred between Potrero and Surfside β Potrero (βpastureβ) was the original Costa Rican name of both, but Surfside became the popular name when a lot of foreigners began developing its southern outskirts. Most people would probably say that Potrero starts somewhere north of Perlas, and itβs Surfside to the south. In either place, you canβt go wrong. As part of the verification, you will need to choose between paying a refundable security deposit (which includes a non-refundable 2% processing fee) or purchasing a non-refundable damage waiver, which protects you in case of accidental damage during your stay. We strongly recommend the damage waiver, as it provides peace of mind and avoids tying up funds with a deposit. Both the TRUVI verification and your selection of either the deposit or the damage waiver must be completed prior to your arrival.
