We\'ve stayed at other vrbo homes in Poipu and this one has one of the best location and a great layout. My teenager and my pre-teen boys spent several hrs in the evening playing table tennis or foosball or just hanging out on the screened in porch. Their 6 year old sister even got to play with them. They all agreed that this is the BEST house. The surf shop, beach and restaurant are all w/in a block of the property and that makes it very attractive for the days when you don\'t want to explore other areas of the island. I would definitely visit this house again and recommend it to friends and family. Thank you very much Sandy on the kind words regarding Hale Lani Kai. Our kids really enjoy the game room too! Often we will walk to Brennecke's Restaurant to watch the sunset, while sipping a cocktail and having pupus (appetizers). The location is ideal for our needs&wants. We have tried to make Hale Lani Kai comfortable, with all the luxuries of home... If not more. From the ocean view deck, we have actually seen whales jumping in the ocean! Mahalo, Kelly This was a great house to rent and I was pleasantly surprised at everything it had to offer. There was AC throughout that did a great job keeping the house cool. The house has been renovated inside so the interior was bright, nice and clean. The two master bedrooms upstairs have ocean views of Poipu Beach and nice dark rock/large showers. The downstairs we didn't use but had two beds and a separate bathroom. Perfect to walk across the street to hit Brennecke's Beach or the calm kid fr
