A wonderful spot for reconnecting and resetting. Bring your favorite beverage and your best stories! Just outside the front door of the home, you’ll find a low wooden deck furnished with an umbrella dining table for four and lit by a string of festive party lights. The sofa converts into a queen sized bed, providing sleeping space for two. A pair of comfortable upholstered chairs and a small table are tucked into a corner and brightened by two long windows, creating an ideal spot for catching up over coffee. French doors open wide into a warm, homey dining area with a table for six, just steps away from a breakfast bar incorporated into the kitchen counter that seats three. In one corner of the dining area, you’ll find a plump armchair beside the window. Consider it your reading nook! You’ll appreciate the convenience of the microwave, and many thoughtful extras to make you feel right at home: a tea kettle, blender, stocked spice rack, specialty cooking utensils, a toaster, and even a hand mixer for whipping up a batch of your famous buttermilk pancakes or Grandma’s peanut butter cookies. At the rear of the kitchen, a doorway leads into a laundry room with a full-size washer and dryer, plus additional pantry cabinets for food storage. The bedroom has a decidedly happy-go-lucky aspect with a feminine touch. A king-size bed with an ornate iron headboard and footboard is a nod to the home’s vintage roots. You’ll also find a comfortable tufted ottoman at the foot of the bed, a large closet, and a Roku TV. An “en suite” bath delights with updated fixtures with old-time flair, including beadboard paneling, classic black-and-white floor tile, and a pedestal sink. The shower is a bathtub/shower combo.
