Luxurious Hut with Outdoor Bath & Sea Views
About the Home
Experience glamping at its finest in this luxurious shepherd's hut near Sidmouth. As peace, tranquillity and seclusion await. Larger than your average shepherd’s hut, find a master double bedroom alongside an additional bunk bed sleeping four in total. Rustle up something delicious in your kitchen or outside on the BBQ-fire pit, spend afternoons reading in your cosy reading nook and take a bath under the stars. A truly unforgettable retreat amongst nature’s splendour. Nestled in a secluded valley with distant sea views, this is the perfect place to escape for peace and relaxation. Your luxurious shepherd’s hut has bags of space, both inside and out, so you’ll be more than comfortable. On warm days, fling open the double doors and enjoy the best of indoor-outdoor living. Find a BBQ-fire pit to toast marshmallows, an outdoor bathtub for long alfresco soaks, plus ample walking routes to set off from the door. When the weather turns, hunker down with the wood-burner on and something hearty cooking on the stove. Decorated in rich shades of greens with beautiful linen and velvet furnishings, The Bothy has the feel of a boutique hotel. The double master bedroom and additional bunk bedroom all have picturesque views out across the valley. Perfect for lazy mornings with a cup of tea or coffee in bed. Meanwhile, next door, the well-sized bathroom boasts a large shower. Free parking is available. In spite of its isolated rural position, the hut is remarkably well connected and is in a great position from which to explore some of Devon's beautiful beaches and attractions. Head to Sidmouth (10 mins), Branscombe, Beer (15 mins) or Lyme Regis, Exmouth, Topsham and the medieval city of Exeter (within 25 mins). Closer to the hut, there is a renowned family pub which serves great food which borders the farm and is a short walk directly from the hut. Or enjoy a drink and dining at the Pig at Combe hotel, which is 5 mins by car. Please note: The track from the road down to the huts is quite bumpy, mainly due to wear from winter weather. Please take care when driving down. The bunk beds are suitable for children and small teenagers. If you haven't done so already, please notify us prior to your stay if you are planning on bringing your dog. We charge an additional fee of £30 per dog (maximum 2).
