Quaint End Cottage, Ebrington | Cotswolds
About the Home
Tucked among honey-stone cottages in Ebrington, Quaint End is a dog-friendly two-bed retreat where guests feel instantly at home. Light the woodburner, cook supper on the Aga, then sink into a deep bubble bath with a picture-postcard view over the village. With a sunny garden, superfast Wi-Fi, and the award-winning Ebrington Arms a short stroll away, it’s the perfect blend of charm and comfort for your Cotswolds escape. Quaint End Cottage sleeps four guests across two beautifully styled bedrooms. The master offers a king bed beneath vaulted beams, while the second can be set as either a super-king or twin — perfect whether you’re travelling as a couple, with friends, or with family. Life here unfolds over three floors. On the ground level, the country kitchen blends old and new: original flagstone floors and wooden beams, balanced with an Aga, Nespresso machine, and everything you need for relaxed meals at home. A woodburner glows in the corner, making even simple suppers feel special. Upstairs, a light-filled sitting room invites you to slow down — curl up by the open fire, watch a film, or make use of the handy desk for a quiet work call. The family bathroom is a little indulgence: a deep tub with village views, a walk-in rain shower, and underfloor heating. Climb once more to find two restful bedrooms tucked under the eaves, each with crisp linens, thoughtful storage, and plenty of character. Outside, the garden is a charming mix of lawn and terrace, with seating for al fresco dining, a BBQ ready for summer evenings, and loungers for sunny afternoons. The old well (safely sealed) adds a touch of storybook charm, while a lower-level area gives dogs space to run. Ebrington is one of the Cotswolds’ most charming villages — a place of golden stone cottages, thatched roofs, and winding lanes. Just a few minutes’ walk from the front door, you’ll find the Ebrington Arms, a truly outstanding country pub that has earned multiple awards for its food and atmosphere. There’s also a welcoming tea room, a well-stocked farm shop, and footpaths that lead you straight out into the rolling hills. Wine lovers can visit the Little Oak Vineyard, tucked just around the corner, while walkers can choose from a variety of trails beginning in the village itself. Chipping Campden is only a 5-minute drive away, with its elegant High Street, independent shops, and historic market hall. Within 20 minutes, you can reach Broadway and Moreton-in-Marsh (with mainline trains direct to London), while Daylesford, Kingham, and Soho Farmhouse are around half an hour away. Whether you’re here to ramble the countryside, sample award-winning local food, or simply soak in the timeless beauty of a true Cotswold village, Ebrington is a special place to base your stay. We have a few policies in place to ensure all guests enjoy a relaxing, safe, and comfortable stay: 🕓 Check-in is from 4:00 pm, and check-out is by 10:00 am. Early arrival or late departure may be available on request but is not guaranteed. 🧍♂️ The lead guest must be 25 years or older. We reserve the right to request photo identification. 🚫 No parties or events – this is a peaceful countryside setting and we ask all guests to respect that. 🚭 No smoking is permitted anywhere inside the premises. 🐾 Dogs: We welcome well-behaved, house-trained dogs (maximum of two). Dogs must be kept downstairs only and off all furniture. Please note, the main garden is not fully enclosed, though there is a small secure area for dogs at the lower level. ✨ No fake tan, please – it can cause permanent stains to our luxury bedding and towels. Any damage may incur a replacement or cleaning fee. 🔑 Lost keys: A £50 fee applies for lost keys to cover locksmith or replacement costs. Stairs & character: As with many traditional cottages, the stairs are narrow and steep, and doorways upstairs are low in places — something to bear in mind if you have limited mobility. 🌟 Whether you’re here for long walks, cosy evenings by the fire, or simply to slow down in a picture-perfect Cotswold village, Quaint End Cottage is ready to welcome you.
