It's located just 4 minutes from downtown New Albany, including the Market Street Plaza shops and restaurants, the mighty Ohio River, and the riverfront amphitheater. Conveniently experience the Bourbon Trail, Bourbon and Beyond, the PGA Tour, and the Kentucky Derby. If you have any questions or concerns about this, please reach out to us so we can discuss it. :) Thank you for your understanding. :) HOUSE MANUAL: We tried to keep the house simple, but make sure to read through this house manual to make sure you have the best experience possible. PARKING: There is space for three cars on the back driveway, and there is plenty of free street parking in front of the house. CAMERAS: We have three cameras at the house. One is a doorbell camera. The second covers the front porch and walkway, and the other one covers the entrance to the driveway (not the backyard). We don’t monitor the backyard on purpose because we value your privacy as part of delivering a great experience. HEATING AND AIR CONDITIONING: Feel free to adjust the temperature to one that’s comfortable for you. The central heating and air condition covers the two main floors, and the third floor has its own mini-split unit that provides heating and cooling separately. STAIRS: The back stairs between the kitchen and dining room are narrow and a bit steep, so please watch your step if you choose to use these stairs. You may find the front stairs easier. There's also a step up and back down again as you go between the kitchen and dining rooms, so please be careful there too. COFFEE: We have coffee pods and condiments for you to enjoy. POPCORN: We have popcorn and a popcorn maker on hand for you to enjoy as well. TELEVISION: All the TVs in the house are smart TVs. You can login to your preferred streaming apps on any or all of the TVs to watch your favorites. There are also a variety of free streaming options (Roku on the downstairs TV and and WatchFree on the upstairs TVs). HEATING AND COOLING: The thermostat is located in the dining area. The central heating and cooling system covers the first and second floors. The third-floor bedroom and bathroom have individual heating and cooling units that are remote controlled. THINGS TO NOTE: - This is an old house, built in 1929, so the floors creak in some places. - When using the washer, it can be loud or start shaking when it's too full. FIREPIT & OUTSIDE SITTING AREA: -The firepit is propane, and there is a tank inside the rectangular cover. -The string lights can be turned on with the remote that's attached with Velcro above the light switch by the back door in the kitchen. HOUSE RULES: 1. No pets. 2. No parties. Only the number of registered guests are allowed. 3. No smoking on the property or in the house. 4. Please be considerate of our neighbors and uphold quiet hours between 10:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. 5. If you anything breaks, isn’t clean, or gives you trouble, please let us know so that we can help create a great experience for you. 6. Please do not bring food upstairs. 7. This is a special place to make special memories with special people, so soak it in and have a great time! CHECK OUT: - Please leave any used towels in the bathroom. No need to strip beds; we will do that after checkout. - Please turn off the heating and air units in the third-floor bedroom and bathroom if you used them. - Please make sure any dishes used are cleaned or in the dishwasher. - Please make sure all house items are in the room you found them in. - Please check that you have all of your belongings with you. - Please log out of streaming apps so that future guests will not use your accounts. - Please turn off TVs and lights. - Please lock doors and close windows if you opened them. - Please throw away any leftover food and dispose of trash in the receptacle outside by the garage.
