Sandstrom Cabin is 2.5 miles from Tahoe City, and up the street from Sunnyside. This rustic 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath cabin is nestled in the woods in the Pineland area. It has a knotty pine interiors and Ward Creek is right in your back yard. There is a washer and dryer, the kitchen is equipped with pots, pans, dishes, etc, but no dishwasher. There's a telephone, television with cable and VCR, stone fireplace with woodstove insert in the living room, and the house is close to many popular hiking & biking trails. During winter months, the upstairs bedroom windows have wood shutters on them to protect the windows from snow. Close to Squaw Valley, Alpine Meadows, Homewood and Northstar ski areas. This home does not allow any parties or events as this home is in a residential neighborhood, and quiet time is from 9pm-8am. Thanks for your cooperation! There is an electric fence system at this house to protect it from bears when unoccupied. Detailed instructions will be given to you once booked.
