It will take you about 15/20 minutes on foot to Rialto Bridge and St. Mark’s Square. From the vaporetto stop Fondamente Nove there are good connections to the islands Lido, Murano,  Burano and Torcello. From the boat stop ‘Cà d'Oro’ you can explore the famous Canal Grande.
