The home also includes reverse-cycle heating and cooling, a Nespresso machine, an upstairs bedroom fan and on-site parking. Viewpoint is a two-bedroom home positioned on the ridge above Onetangi Beach. The house is arranged across two levels, with wide views over Onetangi Bay from the main living area and deck. The main level contains an open-plan kitchen, dining and living area. Large windows and doors face the coastline and provide direct access to the deck. The full kitchen includes good bench space, cooking facilities and a Nespresso coffee-pod machine. The dining area is positioned beside the deck. The living area has a wood-burning fireplace for cooler weather and a reverse-cycle air-conditioning unit providing heating and cooling. The primary bedroom is located on the upper level and has a super-king bed and an ensuite half-bathroom. A fan is provided in this bedroom. The second bedroom is on the main level and has a queen bed. The home’s full bathroom is also located on the main level. The deck provides an outdoor area overlooking Onetangi Bay. On-site parking is available. Pets may be considered with prior approval. Approval should be obtained before booking. This is a self-catered holiday home. A starter supply of toilet paper, coffee, tea and milk is provided for arrival. Guests are responsible for purchasing any additional supplies required during their stay. A starter supply of firewood is provided for stays between 1 June and 30 September. Additional firewood can be purchased locally. Beach towels are not provided, so guests should bring their own for beach use. The home operates on rainwater tanks. Guests are asked to use water carefully, particularly during dry periods.
