GE/TA #115-284-7872-01 Availability Stunning location! We spent nearly three weeks in this condo and absolutely loved it. The interior is bright, cheery, and very soothing. The shoreline location is unequaled on Kaua'i. AC is great when needed, but the best part is feeling the ocean breeze and listening to the ocean! My wife & I celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary with a 9-night stay in Kuhio Shores #412. Great location within the complex: we loved the full up-close ocean view, watching surfers, sea turtles, sunrises and sunsets. And also a good central location on Kauai itself, for somewhat equally spaced day trips to Waimea Canyon, and Hanalei/North Shore area. There are several good options for dining, groceries and shopping nearby, from The Shops at Kukuiula, to Koloa shopping village & old town, and also sevearl fine dining options at the resorts in Poipu, such as Red Salt and The Grand Hyatt. Overall, we had a fantastic trip! The condo had everything we needed, and we would strongly consider another stay in Kuhio Shores #412 if we return to the island of Kauai.<br/> Location! Location! Location! What an ideal spot!! Location is amazing! Wake and sleep to the ocean waves every day. It's next door to the Beach House restaurant and a small beach. Walking distance to The Shops at Kukuiula; lots of dining and shopping options. Less than a mile to Baby Beach; just over a mile to Poipu Shopping Village (also lots of dining & shopping options). The best stocked rental we've ever been in! From kitchen to bathroom to beach items. Not much room for groceries (two small shelves) but that's irrelevant compared to all the good stuff! The assistance from Garden Island Properties was great. Brenda was very helpful with answers. There was a minor problem with the closet safe and they had an on property assistance to the room in five minutes. Overall property is a bit old but it's very safe and very clean. And this unit is modern and up to date. Guests need to sign in to a book in the lobby upon arrival (arrival / departure date, car license plate) and that the parking pass is in the unit with the keys. There is no washer / dryer in the unit (washer / dryer on each floor near the elevators; also change machine and laundry supplies vending machine) and no pool. But, again, irrelevant compared with everything that's good! It was a heavenly vacation spot and we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Exceptional location right at the ocean's edge. Watched turtles daily from dining room, living room, balcony. Unit was clean and well equipped with beach chairs, beach towels, ice chests, smart tv, etc. Management Company was welcoming yet unobtrusive, just the right balance. We would highly recommend staying here! This place was amazing. It had everything and anything you would need. They had you set up to do any activity in the area. The views of the turtles were amazing and the snorkeling was also very amazing. Saw lots of fish and turtles while snorkeling. Would highly recommend this condo.
