Casino King William Harrah built a sprawling estate on the east shore of Lake Tahoe in 1963 to entertain his celebrity friends. The likes of Judy Garland, Sammy Davis Junior, Frank Sinatra, and the rest of the Rat Pack would enter the Nevada estate and party the night away. This is the Historic Home of the Harrah's Group. The so-called "Villa Harrah" enjoyed a heyday in the 1960s and is now open to you with spectacular views of the lake, above Cave Rock. Stairway to Heaven is the ideal home for a classic Tahoe vacation, offering easy access to beaches, shops, restaurants, and the slopes.
