Each bedroom is designed for rest, offering sound machines and smart charging stations, surrounded by cypress shiplap walls and centuries-old heart pine—much of it dating back to the early 1600’s. The bathrooms are masterful blend of history and luxury, tiled with original repurposed Vermont slate dating to 1851, when the house was built by shipwrights. There are also great niche restaurants closer than King Street, such as coastal Italian at Allora or creative Indian at Rivayat.
