The location of The Mayor's Manor is one of the main reasons we chose to manage it - it's amazing! You're only 2 blocks from Harrison Street, Leadville's Main Street, but the neighborhood itself is quiet, peaceful and safe. This property does not have air conditioning. This property is NOT pet friendly. If it snows more than several inches, look for snow removal signs to make sure you don't violate any temporary parking rules. Staying in the mountains offers a unique and nature-immersed experience, characterized by a rustic charm. You might occasionally encounter some of the local wildlife, insects, and small critters that are part of the natural surroundings. We recommend keeping doors securely closed whenever possible. Rest assured, we've implemented thorough measures to ensure your stay remains undisturbed by these natural inhabitants. Altitude sickness is real. In Leadville/ Twin Lakes, the elevation can be up to 10,000 feet. Symptoms can include dizziness and nausea, so please be mindful of this. We cannot offer refunds for guests experiencing altitude sickness. If you anticipate being affected, we recommend obtaining insurance at the time of booking.
