This beautiful condo is located in the sought-after Carnelian Woods, an area surrounded by trees, so you can enjoy the beautiful nature and peaceful surroundings just minutes from your door! Near the house, you will find an endless network of National Forest trails perfect for walks, runs, and bike rides in the summertime. Just a 3-minute drive, or a short walk, will take you to Patton Beach, a dog-friendly beach that is great for swimming. Nearby Patton Beach you will find more entertainment and dining options such as the famous Garwoods Bar, a wonderful lakefront dining experience, CB’s Bistro and Pizza for family dinners, Magic Carpet Mini Golf and Arcade for the little ones, and a 7-11 for all of your late-night needs. The beautiful Carnelian West Beach provides another excellent swimming spot just a 4-minute drive from the home. In the winter months, you are only 17 minutes from Northstar, 23 minutes to Squaw Valley Alpine Meadows, and 10 minutes from the Tahoe City Nordic Center where you will find a huge network of trails for XC Skiing or snowshoeing. Those wonderful trails on the National Forest system near the home are perfect for enjoying some XC skiing and snowshoeing in the winter months. If a little less physical activity is what you are looking for, you are just a 13-minute drive west to Tahoe City and 9 minutes east from Kings Beach. The hot tub is currently open on weekends, with expanded hours planned for ski season. Tennis courts are available seasonally but currently lack lighting, and the lodge is open daily with hours depending on staffing, offering equipment like bocce balls, volleyballs, and an outdoor ping pong area for sign-out. Please note, there is no barbecue area available for renters. Charcoal grills are strictly forbidden in this county and will result in a $1,500 citation if used. 4-wheel drive or 2-wheel drive tires with snow chains may be necessary for safe travel to this property, even if it hasn’t snowed in a few days.
