Tucked away above the town, it combines contemporary comfort with a sense of privacy, creating a wonderfully relaxed space for two. The spacious interior has been thoughtfully designed around slowing down and enjoying the space. At its heart is a luxurious super-king-size bed, while a beautiful freestanding bath within the bedroom adds a touch of boutique indulgence and makes the apartment feel genuinely special. Sliding pocket doors allow you to shape the space around your stay, creating separation when you want it or opening everything up for a brighter, more relaxed feel. Outside, the private sun deck is one of The Loft's standout features. With space for alfresco dining alongside comfortable loungers, it's perfect for slow breakfasts in the sunshine, afternoons with a book or an evening drink after a day exploring the coast. Access to The Loft is independent and via a stone staircase running up the side of the building to a gated entrance. From here, two further flights of stairs and a cobbled walkway lead to your private deck and entrance. The stairs are relatively steep, so the property may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility or those who would struggle with heavy luggage. Stylish, private and wonderfully positioned, The Loft offers a memorable escape for two, combining boutique interiors and its own secluded outdoor space with everything Fowey has to offer just moments away. Situated in the heart of Fowey, you'll be perfectly placed to experience one of Cornwall's most picturesque harbour towns. Step outside to discover charming narrow streets lined with independent boutiques, galleries, cafés and award-winning restaurants, all just moments from the waterfront. Steeped in maritime history and literary heritage, Fowey is renowned for its colourful harbour, vibrant food scene and annual events including the Fowey Royal Regatta and the Fowey Festival of Arts and Literature. Spend your days exploring the Town Quay, taking the passenger ferry to Polruan, visiting Readymoney Cove or following the South West Coast Path to enjoy spectacular coastal scenery. Surrounded by beautiful coastline and rolling countryside, Fowey also provides an excellent base for discovering nearby attractions including the Eden Project, The Lost Gardens of Heligan and Lanhydrock. The Loft is one of two independent holiday apartments within the building, with Bel Air situated on the level below. Both apartments have their own private living spaces and entrances. Access to the apartments is via a steep stone staircase leading up from the High Street to a gated entrance. From here, guests continue up a further flight of steps to the level of Bel Air, before climbing another two flights of steps to reach The Loft. Due to the number and steepness of the steps, The Loft may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility, and guests travelling with heavy luggage should also bear this in mind when booking. Access to The Loft passes through the terrace area outside Bel Air before continuing to the upper level, so you may occasionally see guests staying in the neighbouring apartment as you come and go. Guests staying in either apartment share access to a well-equipped utility room with a washer/dryer and large fridge/freezer, providing additional convenience during longer stays.
