West Cottage is a charming Cotswold stone cottage, located right in the heart of the royal historic town of Tetbury with country pubs and shops just a stone's throw from the front door. Due to its location, the property is perfect for romantic getaways or a family break from the city and those who are attending weddings at nearby venues. Pets considered, however there will be an additional cleaning fee. Please contact us before making your reservation to confirm. We are in a perfect location if you want some peace and quiet or if you are looking for a space to enjoy your friends and family. Our location is perfect for those attending a wedding nearby and we can help you arrange your transport. We are child friendly with books, games and movies inside for relaxing. There are many walks from the cottage where you will experience the natural beauty of The Cotswolds. Ground floor: On entering the property you will find a cosy sitting room with an open fire, dining table with seating for 4 persons, TV, Freeview and Netflix. You'll find a fully equipped kitchen which contains a washing machine, microwave, fridge, freezer, toaster, kettle, electric cooker and gas hob. First floor: Double bedroom with king sized bed, landing with door leading to the bathroom with bath and shower attachment, basin and WC. Second floor: Bedroom with 2 single beds, wardrobe and chest of drawers and chair. You will need to bring your own wood to burn. About the area: Tetbury is world-renowned for it’s Royal connections, elegant period buildings and rare antique shops. The Highgrove Estate (based just outside Tetbury) is the private home of King Charles 111 and Queen Consort. A visit to the Highgrove Store (where all profits go to The Prince Charles Charitable Foundation) is a must. The picturesque 17thC Market Hall stands proudly centre stage in the heart of the town with regular farmers and craft markets to explore. The historic town offers an abundance of fabulous eateries ranging from funky bistros, artisan coffee shops, tapas bars or a cosy pubs for a hearty Roast Dinner.
