This is a basic, compact studio suited to guests looking for a simple place to sleep rather than a luxury stay. The apartment is fully tiled and includes a small kitchenette with a bar fridge, kettle, toaster, microwave, and a two-plate stove. Storage and counter space are functional but limited. A small bistro table with two chairs is positioned next to the kitchen for light meals. The sleeping and sitting area is combined and includes a smart TV. The bathroom has a shower over a bath. Please note that the building is older and shows signs of wear, with ongoing maintenance common in such properties. The basement parking in particular is dated and may feel dark or uncomfortable, especially for guests not used to older city buildings. While the apartment itself is secure, the building may not feel ideal for single or first-time travellers who are sensitive to their surroundings. The location is central, with many shops, cafés, and restaurants nearby, and the beach is within walking distance. Camps Bay is approximately 2.9 km away, and the V&A Waterfront about 5 km away, both accessible via public transport. Overall, this apartment is best suited to budget-conscious travellers who prioritise location over building aesthetics and modern finishes.

House Rules and Terms

An extra charge of ZAR 150 will apply when checking in after 18h00 and after 22h00, an extra fee of ZAR 250 which is payable upon check in. No loud noise after 21h00 and no noise after 23h00. No smoking. You will be liable for a fine up to R1000 for smoking violations. We may require you to send us a copy of all the guests ID/ Passport documents over AirBnB as we need to register you at the building manager. No more than 2 visitors are allowed at any time, and no one is allowed to stay over except for the guests booked. You will also be required to sign a document upon check in explaining the house rules. For monthly rentals (30+ nights) electricity will be limited to R500 for a 1 bedroom and R750 for a 2 bedroom.
