I call this apartment the Urban Treehouse — not because it’s a real treehouse, but because the patio sits so close to the treetops in front of the building that it genuinely feels like you’re tucked away among the branches. It’s a compact studio, but this little elevated outdoor space gives it a unique charm.

About the Home

This Studio offers a comfortable stay in a wonderfully central part of Cape Town. Although the building sits right in the city, the surroundings are surprisingly calm, with established gardens and access to a spacious communal swimming pool. From the apartment, you can catch a glimpse of Table Mountain, reminding you just how close the main tourist attractions are. The famous Company’s Garden is only a few steps away, and you’ll find cafés, restaurants, museums, and galleries within easy walking distance. The studio itself is compact and fully furnished, making it a practical choice for guests who plan to spend most of their time exploring the city. It has a noticeably large bathroom for its size, and the essentials you need for a comfortable stay. The small patio sits close to the surrounding trees, giving it a slightly elevated “treehouse” feel, with a partial view of Table Mountain in the background. Positioned on historic Queen Victoria Street, the apartment is conveniently located across from the Company’s Garden, the National Gallery, and the Planetarium. Several other heritage sites are just around the corner, making it a great base for guests who want easy access to Cape Town’s cultural landmarks. The space is best suited for a maximum of two guests only.. Nothing fancy—just a clean, well-located spot to rest and recharge between sightseeing.

Check-In Policy

This building does allow self check-in. Please note that only the Booker is allowed to collect the keys. No third party bookings allowed unless prior arrangement.

Our apartments are located in residential buildings with permanent residents. Please respect the community and building rules

No loud noise after 20:00, and complete quiet is expected after 22:00. Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the unit and within the building. Violation may result in a fine of up to ZAR 1,000 and possible immediate eviction. A maximum of two people, including visitors, are allowed in the apartment at any time. No overnight guests are permitted unless they are listed on the original booking.

Check-In Documentation

Before or upon arrival, all guests must sign a check-in form confirming acceptance of these house rules.

Cleaning Services

Complimentary cleaning is only included for stays longer than 7 nights. No Third Party bookings allow. Only the booker is alble to collect the keys.

Electricity Usage (Long Stays)

For bookings of 28 nights or more, electricity is included up to ZAR 500 per month. Any usage beyond this limit will be billed to the guest.
